Don't check/raise flop. You'll inflate the pot 150bb deep where there are few turns that are great for your hand. If you want a good example of this, see river action. The rest of the hand is fairly inconsequential because you should find yourself in this position less as you fix previous streets.
Thanks yeah, I agree the check raise on the flop is bad. My thinking was, I'm doing great against an over pair without hearts, like naked Aces or even possibly Aces with a wheel gutter.
So, I figured a check raise would either get all the money in or get the fold. The call was surprising and it threw me off the rest of the hand.
I don't currently have a database and I'm interested in getting started with one. Do you have any good suggestions?
