that's not why they wear scarves, lol.

That call vs this player is without a doubt not a mistake, its bad read sure but far from a clear poker mistake

18M is a lot of chips in this tournament, he could have found a better spot IMO than calling off with king high on the river.

Also, obviously not an easy hand to fold but I think Solomon has a fold with trip 7s on the river. Flop is A77, he check raises and bets every street, Vogelsang takes all that action and raises the river for less than double the bet, no way he's ever losing to 87 there, never ever ever.

That's my results oriented analysis of the day. I'm sure I go broke on the 87 hand but I really feel like fold is correct.
true, the way bigger mistake was raising the flop though.

I could do a more detailed analysis, but probly not worth it b/c it's a simple hand.

As a poker player, you want to make the correct decison or most +EV play (unless you could commit ICM suicide b/c of payout structure). You want to only focus 100% of your brain power on call/fold

Daniel N KQ beats 56, 57, 67, 79, 710, 910, q9, q10, k10 x 16 combos each = 144 hands - 9 spade flushes.

Almost all Ax, Jx, and 8x check back the river and take their SD value. They don't fire 3 bullets.

He only loses to boats, flushes, quads and trips such as A4 = 4 combos, 44 = 1 combo, 88 = 2 combos, JJ, AA, 910ss, 48, j4, etc. All of these hands have very few combos. And some trip 4's don't bet the turn

Daniel is getting over 2:1 in a spot he is good 67%+ against Colman who likes to take agressive lines with most of the 135 combos he beats.

1. the x-factor variable is that this is a live tournament. Colman may be more gun shy with those 135 combos under the bright lights against someone who can soul read. On the computer this is a snap call

^^^^^^ coleman's bet was polarized was not merged is why dn made the call. otoh --- I think dn got caught up in show-boating and was focusing more on being a hero in front of his fans and on tv. I don't doubt that these calcs were not going through dn's head - but I also think he may have been too influenced by the cameras. we'll never know though ...

Coleman is a boss! f**k espn and they're little gremlin mickey mouse!

they're half assed cockamamee coverage is way worse for poker than coleman refusing to talk to them.

these s**t faced hypocrites are way worse for poker imo! poker media needs to stfu and disney needs to get a blow job!

lol great broadcasting. First hand of the night was actually hand 31 of the 9 handed 'final table'. Coincidentally enough, the first 30 hands happened on Day 2, and the 31st happened 1st hand of Day 3.

The interesting thing I noticed that the first two times Paul Newey went all in and was called, he would wait for the other person to turn their cards over before he did. Daniel was pretty quick before doing it, but Tobias was definitely waiting and I think Seiver said something that got him to turn it over quickly Kind of a polite favor for the amateur IMO.
