I didn't say they definitely never mentioned the charity $$, I was asking if they did, because it didn't stand out. I sure don't remember hearing the figure mentioned at all (let alone every 5 minutes) during the final hours of programs. (BTW, I'm sure you can get this info from another source other than the broadcast.)
My point was that the charity aspect of this could have been played up better, maybe by doing a 1-2 minute segment explaining the charity in detail. Maybe there was no budget for that. Instead ESPN shows the TV audience a segment on "What do other pros think about talking to the media?" Whose interests does that serve more - poker's or ESPN's?
