Yeah, it looks bad when you just see King high, but in reality, KQ is pretty much the same as any one pair hand there, even top pair.

I didn't say they definitely never mentioned the charity $$, I was asking if they did, because it didn't stand out. I sure don't remember hearing the figure mentioned at all (let alone every 5 minutes) during the final hours of programs. (BTW, I'm sure you can get this info from another source other than the broadcast.)

My point was that the charity aspect of this could have been played up better, maybe by doing a 1-2 minute segment explaining the charity in detail. Maybe there was no budget for that. Instead ESPN shows the TV audience a segment on "What do other pros think about talking to the media?" Whose interests does that serve more - poker's or ESPN's?

I thought he was great. He came across as a very intelligent non-degen good guy with many options that plays poker because he enjoys the intellectual element of it at the highest levels.

Other than the scarf (which is a Euro thing based on a false belief that air conditioning causes you to catch a cold) he may have been the least douchey guy that made it to the money.

I'm only half way through the first episode of the night and here are my impressions :

Negraneau : "I'm a 100% integrity - that's why so many people follow me" next scene - Negraneau : "CLOCK!"

AA fold by reinkenmeir is confirmed horrible.

....But who cares ! Seiver handed him 5th place money with his T5s ICM suicide ! LOL

Anyone notice Negreanu not as confident as usual when heads-up? He kind of making excuse by saying "the blind's so big any hand could be it" (not exact word).
Also he like wanted to make good story by his "hero call". Of course "Negreanu wins One Drop by catching Colman's bluff with king-high" will make a great headline.
Also nice of him calling the clock for his friend Scott.

Is it just me or Seiver gave away his semi bluff with his talking?, he actually told Tobias that he put him on AQ, there's no way he told him that to induce a call, so he was honest, that was why he acted so confidently, plus Tobias played the hand trying to trap Seiver, another reason to think that Seiver told the truth putting him on AQ at best

Don't see why they kept harping on about Coleman so much.

He did a studio interview with ESPN, and seems to have done a post tourney interview as well, which surprised me given how much they've been trying to vilify him. I'm sure ESPN would love to have 9 different personalities of Humberto at the final table bringing their own ****ty props and being a nuisance to fellow players, but to dedicate a whole segment to how the kid's a dick is lol.
