Sadly, no World Poker Tour here in upstate NY this season.

Time Warner Cable has dropped MSG network (which carries FSN here) in a pricing war.

Kev,

Any links to the preview show episode, and/or episode 1 of Legends? I live in the Ny market, and MSG didn't come back on the air until last week. Been having a hard time finding those online (pokertube, pokercast, etc.) so if you have a link for where I might be able to watch them, would be much appreciated...

Thx,

Nic

Does the WPT not have a rule like the WSOP where you can't talk about your hand during a hand?!? I'm watching the final table of legends and Will and Jeff are in a hand where Will is all in with 88 and Jeff basically tells Will what he has (AJs) Will says 'You are behind" and Jeff says "I believe you" and lays it down. I would be really upset if I were one of the other players at the table. I'm upset just watching on TV and not seeing so much as a warning being issued.

I haven't seen any new ones lately, but just watched the WPT Legends of Poker that aired about a year ago. I must say that almost the entire field is full of complete d-bags. A donk from Canada and a typical jersey guy. They were completely horrible for the WPT to be on TV.

I just finished watching and while there was way to much talk about what they had I don't think any player said exactly what they had till the hand was complete. A couple times they declared they held pairs but I think the rule is you can't state your exact hand, so you could say pair because that has multiple possibilities.

FWIW, the players telling Will what they held post-hand was insane. Why give a pro that info?

Ok, so the rule is that you can't state your exact hand, fair enough. (but who believes anything anyone says at a poker table anyway?)
anyhow, he said "I have an ace and a high card" and that is close enough for me. Even Sexton commented about it, noting that the other players at the table are affected because they want the two to clash and one of them to bust out.
