Due to fact that despite this there are SO many people who think Daniel is a great player.
LOL at the bold.

5 WSOP Bracelets, 2 WPT titles, 6th on the all-time money list, 1st on all-time money list if you exclude 50k+ buyins.

Yeah, he sucks.

IMO - He isn't near Ivey or Dwan's level. Which is why he generally loses in the big televised games, because he is always playing against the best of the best. You put 99.9999% of poker players in a lineup with Dwan, Ivey, Antonius.. they will lose.

That being said, that thought process is really bad. I cringe whenever I hear somebody justifying a raise with "to see where I'm at."

lol, I love how at the end he says "I fooled him, he thought I had a really big hand"

I'd have more respect for him, if he just came out and said I played this hand badly, instead of trying to make himself look like a genius.

First hand ITT that has been legitimately tilting, and for more reasons than one.

I guess it kinda depends on what criteria you use to determine a great player. All I know is that except for really long run results dont mean anything in poker and in live poker, not even decades are enough to be considered a long run.

Therefore I consider the quality of a player based on his understanding of key fundamentals and his reasoning behind any given of his plays. From what I have seen in that "analysis", he fails more than terribly on this scale.

If someone simply uses different scale, I am fine with it although I disagree.

Okay, I'm going to address your post here.

5 WSOP Bracelets. Good point. However, Only 1 of them is in NL holdem (and it's in the last 2 months). The other 4 are in Limit holdem, SHOE, and Pot limit holdem.

2 WPT Titles. Good point. However, both of them were in 2004. Back when everyone was completely awful at NL holdem.

I don't think that Daniel sucks, far from it, but that thought process was completely awful.

A lot of people have probably seen this video. However, what tilts me in this hand has nothing to do with Freitez and his dirty angle, it has to do with Yanayt's reaction afterwards. Saying he "knew about this guy before the tournament started" and saying in an interview later that this move is a "huge tell"? Hell, ever the tournament director told Yanayt that Freitex has done this exact same move with the nuts.

So, Yanayt, you say you knew about this guy and his angle? You say it's a huge tell? Then I must ask you...

Spoiler:
WHY THE FE-FI-FO-**** DO YOU STILL PAY HIM OFF?

The best part of that video is when Kremser informs Yanayt that the guy has pulled this scumbag move before in the same damn tournament (and he apparently did it three times in the San Remo). You don't see that very often. "I will share this information with you".

I just watched the video and even I feel I need a shower.

Looks like scumbag won the tournament and 1.5 mil euros. Crime does pay.

Just for the table conduct absurdity value, I'd love to see a three handed session with Freitez, Hilton Laborda and Humberto Brenes.

the worst part is... what does he think its going to look like when he "ment to call" and then shows the nuts?
does he really think his trick would just go unnoticed? deserves a kick in the ballsack

Anyone of those WSOP hands where somebody plays horribly in a huge pot then sucks out and does a touchdown dance. I know there's one with Matt Affleck against Duhamel and another involving...Filipo Candio and Joseph Cheong? I think those are the two names.

Amazed that I'd never seen this before.

Another thing that tilted me about this vid is at 0:21 where that fat guy can't tuck his whole gut behind his shirt, get a bigger shirt bro.

Oh, something else that I just realized tilts the living hell out of me...any hand where someone unknowingly or accidentally mucks the winning hand. I'm not sure why, but I was trying to watch the NBC Heads-Up with Jungleman and Antonio and when I found out Jungleman mucked a winning hand I had to insta-stop before I saw it.

That Phil Laak hand where he mucks the winning hand in a €63,750 pot must of killed you.

Here's the video of Henry Van Tran getting a 1 round penalty, we were discussing this on the 1st page I believe.
