Re: Scott Fischman

So the point of this thread is to bash someone who hasn't done well since a good 2 year run @ the beginning of the poker boom.

Great Thread.

Re: Scott Fischman

his 'in the fish tank' column made for a cool read in card player mag. 2 bad he went on a supposed down swing though. wonder if that's why he no longer writes those columns?

Great Thread.
My original post was just to see if he was still out playing in the tournament circuit or out there playing in big cash games. Just randomly saw an old wsop clip online where he was playing and thought wow, that's a name I haven't seen since a wsop europe event a few years ago. No bashing was done but others seemed to take it there. I'm sure many of us who enjoy poker every once in a while see an old telecast and say wow, I wonder where that guy has been since this time ya know.

Re: Scott Fischman

Saw him playing a mix at Hard Rock during Detox...I tried to play over but they wouldnt let me...

I think he played the ME there....or maybe it was the other small buy in even I played....iunno.

Looked really bad, and Im not just talking about weight as there are plenty of chubby people his age that look relatively healthy...of which he is not one.

I think he has/Ive heard or read he has arthritis.

Re: Scott Fischman

Not to justify the douchey "Take over the world" nonsense, but he does have some serious health problems, rheumatoid arthritis I believe.

why didnt they let you play? His PLO game after a detox event went 3 handed and it got turned into a 1/2 NLHE game I played in and even bought in short for 200 when he was sitting with like 1k+...he didnt play long cuz he was raising every hand pre and would get out bet on flop, turn and river, his stack didnt really intimidate anyone...plus I dont think most the rest of the table really knew who he was

Re: Scott Fischman

always looks pretty arrogant and generally tilty on tv. He was on late night poker the other week in the UK so he's obviously still thought of enough to be invited, also a red pro on FTP obv, once his contract is up he could be in trouble though, a la Gavin Griffin recently lol.
Solid player tho, bracelets and a living from poker, can't agrue with that sorry guys

Re: Scott Fischman

He was playing 20-40 stud at the Commerce toward the end of the LAPC this year. He is one of the more cool and nice guys who have visability in the poker world. Always had a great attitude on the table, laughing and having fun with the players and super good guy to dealers and staff. Wish him nothing but the best.

Re: Scott Fischman

Funny that they kicked Joey B. out of the crew and he then went on to win the WPT championship.

Re: Scott Fischman

Fischman is not out of money - if you recall, he and the crew "own the World Series of Poker" and thus the royalties prob keep him very comfortable.

Great Thread.
I just don't like the guy, I don't care how good or how bad he runs.
