The PokerNightTV cash games from March 17 and 18 are pretty decent & you can watch them whenever under "past broadcasts" on Twitch.
25/50 is not really high stakes! and those "hand of the day" and similar things are full of ****ty music, ****ty graphics, ridiculous over-the-top production, and really just a bunch of questionable opinions... I think Torelli's stuff isn't *that bad*, if you can get past the fluffy stuff and his long-windedness (some of those hands take over 15 minutes, I mean, come on...) Doug Polk is very hard to take seriously...you take him seriously? Jonathan Little has moments, and is a little more sedate, but...in fact, I don't think his approach is so good for live cash games..he's a tournament specialist.
When you watch Jesus, Kid Poker, Dolly, The Magician, Durrrrr, No Home Jerome, The Poker Brat, Farha, Patrik Antonius, Mercier, Veldhuis, Mike The Mouth, Galfond, and so on, duke it out for real big money, you learn plenty of real stuff..not opinions. Funny I've not seen Polk or Torrelli or Jonathan Little on any of those shows...they are not at that level.
It's easy to spout off opinions and play fairly high stakes when you are a trust-fund kid who spends his time flying around the world with his girlfriend, but until I see Alec playing 300/600+ with the big boys I remain skeptical.
Anyways, thanks for the reply...
