eh, i'd say high probability that guy would end up being sort of douchey like troy. not the kind of LC i have in mind and i'm not sure what makes you think he'd be fun to watch. he could be a perfectly nice guy, but just making a snap judgment based on that video i'd guess he's bad but thinks he's great and takes himself too seriously, probably not a great sense of humor. again, sounds like troy to me. he gets the edge if he doesn't try to rap though

Seriously tho, I agree w blanko about the DB potential, and I didn't see Troy's audition vid but if he's anything like that kid, no ty. Vid was pretty funny tho, and hard to say either way if he'd be all serious or not- he seems more confident than Troy anyway. I think the vid was meant to look all serious tho, kinda see the humor in it.

hellmuth is the donkey-wizard. he just isnt ever bluffing there like that, full pot. say about what you want about hellmuth but he knows how to play against amateurs.

Actually, though, if you reread my post, you'll see that I didn't say anything to indicate that I "seriously understand the mental/emotional status" of Phil. DN is an excellent TV personality - I suspect the majority of his income is from appearance fees rather than poker. His job on poker shows, I believe, is more to entertain than play great poker. A+ to DN.

The PH / Stern dynamic was fantastic comedy - it made the show very entertaining.

I notice that PH never rebuys - I suspect UB funds his 100K and anything beyond that must come from his own pocket.

I am pretty sure it's a one day thing. Usually players are instructed to refer to yesterday and a few days ago when in reality it was a few hours ago. They all wear the same clothes the whole show anyway.

I think you are wrong about the gaming license, if you collect a rake or charge the players a time rake you need a license but if it is free it would be legal. Home games for any amount are legal in NV as long as there isn't a rake.
