Shouldn't the freeroll play like the show and have two hands with avg stack of 25xBB, two hands @ 20xBB, 2 @ 10xBB, 2 @ 5xBB, etc...?

Why should we watch if the pro's have nothing to play for? Is there an incentive for the pro's to win? You need both players battling for a prize to make it interesting. It's riggaments if only one person benefits from winning. Face the Ace part deux imo.

The celebrities and pros were playing for charity.

The celebrities get $5000 for their charity if they win. The team pros win and they also get $5000 for their charity of choice. If I win, I get $10,000 for the Lili Claire foundation. Lots of money is being given away and I'm very proud of the show.

As I mentioned in my blog, the target audience is NOT 2+2ers AT ALL. I get that you guys like to see "real poker" like HSP, but this is for a very different audience and that's why the show was purposely done in such a way that it had a game show feel.

We have the right kind of celebrities for a football Sunday with John Salley, Jerome Bettis, Tito Ortiz, and Jayde Nichol for the first batch of shows. They are channel stoppers, people see them and go, "Huh, what is this?" and then watch for a bit.

The target audience would prefer watching this show over a PAD or HSP. Those shows are more geared towards you guys, real poker players, while our show hits the demographic of beginning players in a fun/exciting way.

The edited show was much better than I could have ever hoped. I don't expect you guys to like it, I get it. While you might not enjoy the show, you'd be shortsighted in thinking that certain people will really enjoy it.

Well, I have to admit, the show was definitely stupid enough that it will target Fox's core demographic.

Good luck with it.

Exactly. 2+2 haters are being VERY short sighted about this. This is a poker game show that is airing on Sunday after football.

Let that sink in a little.

In case you still don't get it: This can only be good for poker!

I'm curious how many new accounts PokerStars got after this show who also played in that freeroll. That would be instant feedback on how well the show did.

Obviously, it wasn't a good show for poker enthusiasts. However, i don't see how the show is compelling for the random football fan who's too lazy to switch over to CBS (or doesn't care) aside from the title. It'd be harder than normal for such a person to follow what's going on in the hands.

22,609 players in the freeroll. Obviously I don't know how many are new accounts, but that's a big turnout!

God these 3 players all want to chop but are so dumb they don't know how to e-mail support and ask. They just keep calling the moderator to the table and the mod tells them to e-mail support, they don't know how to e-mail support lol noobz.

There's a good chance the players signed up after seeing the game show and are playing their first tournament.

Now, who's the dumb one here ???

Exactly. Don't you want to play against people who push all-in w/73 and call your all in with nothing more than a gutshot?

That said, this show was laughable. From the priest blessing the cards and rubbing his holy beads, to the rigged decks allowing him to hit his draws when he is all in, to the dome of silence, and the button to neutralize the dome of silence. I can't believe the show was canceled at the half-hour mark. Can you imagine an episode with Big Pappi? Lordy.

I don't think I will waste the time playing in the freeroll next week. he payout structure is terrible. Who runs this business anyway?

OMGSF Rigged.

If you want me to believe that guy is a priest who won a freeroll with 18 zillion players you must be kidding me. Blessing the cards? Rubbing the rosary? Give me a fuc^&*g break already.

I am only 10 minutes in and this is a copmplete joke.

Totally set up with actors. If they were going to do that they could have at least got someone who was even remotely believable.

This is worse then Face the Ace. This isn't even realistic but perhaps a good thing if they get newbie poker players to go play on stars and donk off like this.

Vanessa softplay then moving all in with crap and Daniel soft playing then stacking off with a gutshot draw is terrible. I'm sure Daniel didn't want to win because he wouldn't want the Father to lose like that but man this was painful to watch.

This is the worst poker show I've ever seen on tv and I've seen almost all of them.

Face the Ace is actually better than this.

The best thing about the show is hostess Michelle Nunes. She's a former Miss Hooters swimsuit pagenent winner.

This is laughable. You obviously have not seen Face the Ace. I'll take a side bet this show has WAY better ratings and last WAY longer than Face the Ace.
