I didn't say she should float everytime she had a chance...just that it would more than likely work.

So I do think Gonzo is an overall better player than this LC.
It's so easy to look like a genius when you either hit monsters or run into the bottom of people's range every time you bluff. I do like the fact that he tried to play though, that speaks to his credit, although the plays he made were mostly not that great imo. Floating every checkraise with no pair no draw without even blinking, and somehow always managing to have it being a spot where the other guy was bluffing, geez.
Also his expert limp/calls preflop. I could go on.

Yeah this week LC missed some EV due to being tight, but she got the money in really good once and on a good draw once, sadly ran bad and lost both times.

Again, he rarely never floated with air/usually had gutshot & overs or sth the like and I would do the same if my opponents gave up on the turn all the time/never played back at me. Also, he shut down the limping after 2 or three episodes. Also, the occasional limp-call with speculative type hands isn't even so bad.

Using the logic of other posters in this thread, I'm gonna assume you're just saying this because you're secretly in love with Gonzales.

Jokes aside, you do at least make arguments defending your point, although I still don't see how you can think Gonzales is better than Courtney at poker. At this point I'm however willing to agree to disagree, since it is most like our perceptions of what is good/not good to do that differs.

I didn't say that I thought he was "better". What I think is he had way more table presence and a pro-like composure, combined with the rungood it made him come off even better than he should have. Still, I think it became apparent he has some idea about the game. With Courtney, we can pretty much only guess.

If anything it was super obvious to me that while Gonzales knowledge of the game is pretty much limited to the rules, Courtney actually knew how to play well given her table conditions.

So you are saying that in a HU match between the two you would put your money on gonzo? Make this happen somehow and I take 10k of Courtneys action.

Imo she was one of the very few cannons which had at least a slight clue of how to play.

Makes me wonder about these guys though, how do you not study your ass off 24/7 when you get this oppurtunity and have no idea of how to play. Especially disappointed with Jared there.

From what I have seen in TBG there should be no way she is a winning player in any form of poker, not even in donkaments.

I think we are up to sth. here...

I don't want to imply that there is cheating going on.
Tournament poker is the lottery.

this. and hes not cute like she claims. she did the exact opposite of everything she said she would in her interview...she was the tight, boring cannon she said she wouldnt be. one of the worst 3 cannons ever.
