I did think the players they chose were fine, but it just had a terrible feel to it like it was an infomercial for 888Poker.

I agree.
I saw my first show (episode 7) last night. The graphics were horrible and hard to follow. They showed a picture of all 8 players at the table at the bottom of the screen. When a player folded, they did not remove their picture. When a player was in the hand they highlighted the players. They never removed the inactive players. If it was the 1st and 8th player, you had to look left and right at the screen to try and figure out what was happening. You couldn't hear the commentator because the other players were laughing and caring on private conversations across the table.
When the flop came they showed the cards at the top of the screen. Now you had to look left, right, and up at the top of the TV screen.
When the show ended, there was another show (episode 8) right after it. I shut the TV off and went to bed!!!!
