Gabe doesn't even seem to enjoy himself anymore. Also, his jokes aren't nearly as funny without AJ there to give him ****. I never thought I liked the guy, but it's quite obvious the chemistry between the 2 was actually a big part of the show. It's completely different now

This was Gabe and I doing "schtick" for God's sake. There wasnt an ounce of bad blood between us. How could anyone see those takes and think we were really at odds. Jesus.....we were just screwing with each other.

I must admit that I did not understand how important AJ Benza was in making Gabe Kaplan funny. Now it is very obvious and this is the worst season so far (season 5 was the best).

I signed this earlier, but also sent a message to HSP (the link to do so is in the first post of this thread if you didn't know). Like many of you, I miss hearing the bantered color commentary between AJ and Gabe. It's kind of off-putting when I'm sitting there listening to Gabe drowning in his jokes with nobody to bounce them off of. All due respect to Kara, the inserts on this particular show are mediocre, valueless television and, further, all respect to Daniel, the weekly PokerStars-sponsored segment is unnecessary filler as well.

The chemistry between Gabe and AJ was metered just fine if you ask me. If something ain't broke, you don't fix it. I sincerely hope they will invite AJ to return to this show.

Gabe and AJ's chemistry was perfect. Now Gabe sounds like an old uncle making lame jokes at the family dinner. Kara is beautiful, nice hair and everything but totally useless... Perhaps they really wanna be making poker after dark?....

Honestly one of the biggest uncomprehensible mistake done to a show. Ridiculous.

Did not read all the posts, way too many. I really think Gabe needs someone else to cohost with, but I think AJ and Gabe together were a little too slap stick for my taste. Need a real str8 man to set Gabe up not a goof ball.

Just emailed this woman. Demanded the person responsible for firing AJ be fired themselves and also castrated. I'm sure my demands will be met.

But I'll sign this, It seems since gabes alone he always talks when the table chat is most interesting.

One man's meat is another man's poison I guess. It would be a lousy life if we all had the same taste. I enjoyed them together. Remember AJ's definition of small-ball poker?

And quite frankly, I wouldn't have been able to endure some episodes without their banter to relieve the boredom. Right now the actual poker is better than before (which is why we don't feel the void quite so much) and thank you to whomever ensured that I don't have to watch AE doing pushups. As though he didn't waste enough time searching for missing chips.

If having Mrs Chad on the show makes it more attractive, then go for it GSN. We still need two men in the booth, though.

The show still fees like watching a televised funeral.

The new stuff they added this season seems pretty damn pointless. Don't get why they would change something that wasn't broken.
