I think the thing I like most about Chad is the dynamic he has with Lon, if he was with someone else I'm not sure I'd like him as much.

Norman Chad is perhaps the most qualified poker broadcaster in the business. He is, after all, a graduate of the University of Maryland (College Hill).

Also i cant think of one commentary of tournaments that is better, funnier or more entertaining than him. Sexton and Patten i dont even comment. No matter what sexton says, as long as he moves his arms like a ****** spasmatic monkey, i cant listen to him. Nejad is ok because he lets the players talk. But this woulndt make sense for wsop.
I also think that we have to be aware, that makin a show for us 2+2 specialists wouldnt attract enough ppl for big television broadcast. For example: i really liked Isaac Haxton on durrrr million $ challenge, but no way this would be appealing to general public if he would comment wsop.

I think you just hit the nail on the head. Clearly those of us that play the game perceive the color commentators in a very different light. However, as a TV producer you must consider the broader audience and that is where Norman Chad adds considerable value in making them comfortable with the game.

Personally I like Chad. His stories are as ridiculous as mine.
