Yes, but it makes the game bigger essentially. You get to see players and how they react to winning/losing props which effects their mood and style of playing. I find it interesting anyway.

Ivey is hilarious. Hes sitting there checking top pair twice for some reason while eyeing Patrik and sipping a ****ing pina colada or something. Then just randomly throws a 5k chip into the pot like a child would....still sipping the drink.

FFS, if the players are going to play that ******ed Johnny Lodden game, can't they at least meet five minutes before the taping and explain the rules to each other? I swear it's been about the tenth time I've heard this stupid game being explained to people, and it's more annoying with each repetition. Laak and Esfandiari have done a lot to make poker less watchable on TV, but the Johnny Lodden game tops all their prior efforts.

yea its so classic ivey chowing on noodles, switch shot ivey drinking orange juice, then the whole lodden thinks about how much gus thinks phil will lose was just epic.

I dont care for either and think they are both attention whores for the most part. The game itself isnt all THAT interesting like they all say, I think they are just sick gamblers. Thing is, Id much rather watch a group chit-chat about anything instead of everybody sitting there quietly with sunglasses on like Ferguson.

What do they mean by "booked me". Like when Helmuth said that Daniel booked me.

hes crossbooking his action. Standard when you think somebody is a dog in the game but they have too much of an ego to admit it. Basically, if Phil loses 100k in the game, he has to pay Daniel 100k. If Phil wins 100k, Daniel has to pay him 100k.

I thought it was something like that, but I wasn't sure of the details. Thanks!

So ****ing disapointed by the game so far... didn't remember there were that many commercials. Plus the action has been really sober so far... except for the 43K bluff by Durrrr with 5 high on the T 7 7 flop against PA's AK... Really pissed. It's like they don't even give a **** about the game, just placing props and playing the ****ing lodden game.

Gus bet too much with the boat. With Hellmuths stack he pretty much put him to a decision to decide to go with his likely overpair...and since the ace hit Phil cant move in and roll the dice there (at least not with his style). Bet like 12k and give him a chance to call one more time.

Well they might not seeing as how for 4 of them this is a tiny game. Gus, PA, Ivey, and Dwan are used to spreading out 5-600k online while playing 500-1k. Not sure about Daniels bankroll, but Im sure he can afford it, although I know he rarely plays big no limit games. Hellmuth plays foreal though, mostly to protect his reputation. Remember, its also very early in the game and usually people are trying to feel each other out..take flops and get lucky. They will get more aggressive as the game plays out.
