that`s where lies, most, of his strenght.

small ball linear poker combined with great reading ability made him what he is now.

he gets kind of confused playing deep cash games with non-linear, creative, agressive people. but bare in mind that in HSP he`s playing with a lot of top sharks.

with a "regular field", i bet he could still run over most live cash games.

razz is the easiest game in the rotation. i'm sure if durrrr doesn't have it figured out already he would in a matter of 2 rounds.

his game on these shows clearly says that he is not even an average no limit cash game player, most of guys we see online who play 1/2 or higher play far better than he does and also majority of the guys in this forum.

He is basically limit holdem n mixed cash games player n of course tournament player, so he is better off sticking to these games instead playing with the best in world in that particular game on tv n making a fool of himselves infront of everyone.

if he wants to improve his no limit game, i dont think thats the right idea to play infront of evrybody.

Sure high stakes poker can find some real good players n then we can see some real action n great plays by those great players.

there are only 2 players or at most 3 on that table who r by far the best, remaining all are highly overrated, hope they get some great players n we can watch some great poker again.

Sigh. That is just a silly comment. Sure he's better than 1/2, and it isn't even close. He's not better than 100/200 (yet) but is working on it. In fact, from what I hear he is holding his own in those games. Just cause TV has overinflated his ability, no need to drastically underrate his ability.

He's a great tourney Donk who I have little doubt would with his current game be very profitable at 5000NL. Gotta give him props for recognizing his holes and working to fix the leaks.

dont under estimate these internet players, just that they are not properly rolled for high games doesnt make them bad, sure they do take time to move up the limits as variance plays a bigger role in that, unless they get a break winning a major tournament.

All the good players at every level and also all good players in this forum do have same level of understanding of the game of poker(NL HOLDEM cash game) as ur hero DN does, if not better than he does.

Regarding Daniel, he is the biggest p1rick I have ever seen play Highstakes.
His quote "if u dont play a hand u wont be back" to Matusow was so out of order, everyone knows Mike is busto and to pick on him after playing every hand the worst possible way every street is just nasty.

I guess thats why 2/4 regs are willing to take a shot when he plays online and the list is 40 deep.

Nah, this one isn't even close. His river debates are kind of annoying but otherwise he comes across fine IMO.

Anyone who thinks Eli is the worst hasn't been paying attention. One of the, if not the biggest winner(s) on HSP. The guy has won every season. Maybe he doesn't look like he's doing anything special, but he's winning.
Jamie Gold is clearly the worst of the 'so called' pros and Alan Meltzer the worst of the amateurs.

DN does not suck at poker. DN does suck when it comes to his play on HSP.

Daniel is such a toolbox on HSP imo, almost every play he makes it makes me cringe. In the latest ep. he makes a ******ed 3 bet oop with A9o vs Durrrr who is never folding. So he's oop 350,000$ deep vs a maniac genius with a hand that flops atrociously LMFAO!!! He lit 40k on fire in that hand. He makes all these donk plays and ill timed bluffs with air THEN when he actually has a hand he checks it and gets no value from it by trying to be sneaky. But in this week's episode he tops that and actually folds the winning hand!!! When David makes that raise I'm happy for Daniel, I'm thinking there you go bud maybe it worked out after all that you didn't bet the turn and here's 100k for you, then I feel sick when he mucks.

I don't doubt Daniel's tourney prowess but in cash games he is simply atrociously atrociously bad.

There is a saying that says 'a fool and his money are soon parted'. I remind myself of that quote to stop myself from feeling sorry for Daniel when he plays cash games.
