Playing JC is like riding a very scary roller coaster.. just buckle up for ride. Dave spoke of how long it took for me to call on my AJ vs JCs bluff and I was just not going to make a rash decision as I think a lot of players do against a maniac. So after him saying he had a flush didnt make me fold, he bumped it up to a full house.. So I figured why not ask him to show a card? The worst that could happen is he would say no. So he pushed his cards foward with one hand on one card so I ask to see the other one. Thats why my finger motioned twice..
Now normally I dont like talking in the hand but I figured since he was trying to make me fold with his talk, I might as well see if I could get some information out of him. I was honestly stunned when I saw the J and I had to just think a moment .. Then I called...
Playing him oop is not a good idea and wouldnt recommend it. If possible sit on his left.. But once I saw him I told myself I would just raise normal preflop but basically only value bet.. and hold on!
