The 5/5 games weren't bad. I mean they were but it was good to watch. Come to think of it, can't remember the last time one was on.

Don't get me wrong, I love the LATB personalities in the midstakes games, but a change of pace is always nice. Probably learned a lot more from the smaller games too.

Hi I just started watching his show about 4 weeks ago. So I don't know much about this but I did see his show from Hawaii tonight where he said it was his last show. Do you know what happened or why he won't be having any more shows?

So Limon is really gone?
Thought he owned part of LATB.

Or he's just gone being an announcer/host of Sesh?

RIP Limon
GG Doug Polk...?

Was playing so missed most of show. In chat several people posted Cate was outclassed and didn't rebuy and left.

Can someone post cliffs on her play/hands?

I saw bits and pieces but watched her pay off the old nitty Mike with KTo when she cbet 883dd flop and Mike x/r big, barreled Tx turn and barreled 3x river. She tank called it off in like a 10k pot against the nittiest guy in the game who literally had PFR of 0%. The dude has an 8 there basically 99.99999% of the time

She called a flop check/raise on a 8x8x3d with KcTd against the tightest player at the table then got stacked when she turned a T

Oh and she tanked for close to 5 minutes on a 3 river to about a 40% PSB

Well I unsubbed/unfollowed. Without Limon it's not really worth watching. I could give a @#$ about Doug Polk or Cate Hall. Not really sure what they're planning now. They can get more twitch views with all the .05-.10 "pros" in chat but no one is going to sub to the LATB site. Abe was the only real draw for me and I'd rather hear him make fun of Eldar, Surf and Weez playing 5/10 than watch faux hawk talk about his Youtube channel. And while I find Ryan a fine person, I doubt I'll ever get the level of insight I got from Limon. And not just about poker but life in general.

Viva Limon!

#s were huge for Polk and no Limon let's see if they can hold the improvement. I am curious what the players think.

Love Nic.

Tuch had his chance.

Meh. I was not a fan of pokersesh at all.

That said, I'm not going to be watching as much with Abe gone.

So I guess we will see what happens.

I unsubscribed. The only thing I wanted to pay for was the sesh which for me was pure entertainment for the car rides to the poker room. I play 30+ hours a week so I dont find watching poker entertaining. I did watch some videos when I knew limon was commentating becuase hg he did give good strat - that was dieing anyway and I dont find any of the current commentators to be at a high enough level that its worth watching.

I wonder what their strategy is now. Pushing better content on twitch is nice but I doubt it results in a lot of subscriptions, other than perhaps the lower cost twitch subscription. Perhaps they are not looking at this as a revenue producing business and looking at it more for the branding benefits.

Great post. I agree 100% with everything you said. Limon was a breath of fresh air in the poker community and I hope he comes back.

Started watching last nights action...
Wow that first hand where the guy folds 10,10 to Josh after 3-betting pre and the flop checking around

Qs9s5h2cQd

Or something. Bald Eagle on Meth announcer claimed he'd quit poker if he folds... he folds to like a $2,000 river bet.

I'm not sure I'd call Limon fresh air, but I think his strategy was interesting, and his personality was fun enough that even when I didn't agree with him, I was often entertained.

I can't imagine LATB surviving with the current duds they have announcing.

Not sure if it is even doable but perhaps they are gearing LATB up to replace Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker. Doug Polk, Cate Hall, Sam Abernathy, Mike Matusow ... Name poker players becoming more and more a part of this show and the games getting bigger and bigger.

Watching Sam play was very disappointing. Meh at best. She could've taken every chip from Bear Jew. #lowhangingfruit
