Been seeing these more and more lately .. just make sure it doesn't have a pig nose on it.
Sunglasses .. target
Hoodie over head .. target
Mask .. target
It's just human nature to pay closer attention to a person who stands out. The first day I play in a new casino I usually wear a Disney shirt just so I look a little 'goofy' .. and it does generate some 'good will' for about the first 90 minutes at a table.
Bravo shows 24 Belliogio tables right now at 1:30 AM. Is that typical for a Tuesday 'morning'? Only 2 running at the Rio .. and you wont be able to get a seat there come June, amazing. GL

I can honestly say that the number of times I have picked up an actionable tell from someone's eyes or mouth, in many years of poker, is probably fewer than a half dozen times. Posture, arm position, bet sizing, voice\verbal content...I have been able to tell someone's stress level from these.
Like answer20 mentioned, if I see someone who is exhibiting other tells of being inexperienced, but they are wearing the Young Poker Professional Uniform, it certainly does give a lot of information about them and puts a target on their back.
A surgical mask, though, I would probably just attribute to someone being immunocompromised, and wouldn't pay it much attention.
The surgical mask helps some , but for only a limited time. He might be trying to protect himself or he might be trying to keep something he has from spewing. It would make me a bit uncomfortable after a while anyway. So , after a decent interval , I would likely excuse my self for a table change or just take a break and come back to play on later.
Yes you can wear a medical mask. They wont mind if they see you wearing it while playing at the table. They would understand why you need to wearing it.
