the interviews and did you know are pretty worthless imo

Well she is the "offical" face for just about EVVVERY interview now that is poker.Would have been alot cooler if she actualy was a "WINNING" player.
But then she wouldnt need to shove a mic in peoples pie holes then.

She IS a winning player.... and could probably do a much better interview if the producers really wanted her to. The problem is that if Kara did a better, in-depth poker interview it would probably just make HSP worse!!!!

The fundamental point is that most of us don't watch HSP to see a good (or bad) interview with a high stakes player - we watch it to see actual high stakes cash poker! Therefore the longer the interview, the worse the program.

I like Kara - but the program would still be better off without any interviews at all. I've always thought one of the best aspects of HSP is being able to listen to the table talk - however mundane and trivial. Sometimes I even got annoyed with Gabe and AJ because I couldn't hear what the players were saying.

I think what makes her interviews so bad is that it is obvious she has no genuine interest in the answers to the questions she asked...it looks fake, scripted and she comes a cross as very stiff and phony....

Contrast her interview style to Shana Hyatt. Shana is no Leslie Stahl, but she is so natural and comfortable when she used to interview players and came across as genuinely interested and in what the players had to say, listened to the answers and asked follow up questions. You could also tell most players enjoyed talking to Shana.......(LOL...who wouldn't ? she is an absolute doll)

Kara Scott is always measuring her own words and seems self absorbed and more interested in how she phrases her questions than the answer...she also does not listen to the answers by never asking an appropriate follow up question......Her stiffness usually makes her interview subject stiff and uninteresting....

Stiffness and scripted plays on British TV but it fails in the US.

She really needs to go back to broadcasting school because she has very little natural talent and I'm shocked GSN would hire someone as bad as her..

Please make this her first and last season and punt her back to GB...and put AJ back with Gabe or put Shana in the booth

I'd rather see a hand where someone raises and takes blinds.

They do not show enough hands. I don't mind the Kara Scott thing, but do not cut out raw content just to show her face and interviews. And eliminate Daniel's "Did you know" because all it is saying is "did you know that Daniel plays on pokerstars."

I've noticed that "30 seconds with Kara Scott" is much more like 60 seconds.

Get rid of these, put Gabe and Kara in the game and move Dwan and Ivey to the booth. That would be epic. Lots of silence with the most awesome prop bets based on play you will every witness.

I think it could be a great addition. So far it hasn't been yet really though. After the Dwan versus Ivey hand I would have loved to hear a serious answer from Dwan but I guess he wouldn't want to talk in-depth strategy right after a hand. Oh well, sometimes it can come in handy to know a little bit more if the right situation passes by.

Yeah this. Every single poker player I know thought HSP was far and away the best poker show in TV. They still think it's the best show, but they all think it's not nearly as good with Kara as it was with AJ.

I think Kara is awesome and I don't care at all about AJ. But AJ helped make Gabe funny. This year, Gabe is terrible. And Kara adds nothing except 30 seconds of fully clothed cute girl eye candy.
