That's what I was thinking. I make calls with ace-high and sometimes I look like a genius. Every other time I look like the world's biggest station.

Yep, was going to post the exact same thing.

If Marek thought he had showdown value with his Q high then why didn't he check behind on the river. Does he think he's value betting there? His line makes absolutely no sense at all.

He is bluffing at first but when he gets c/r-ed he has new info to take into consideration. The raise was small also so he doesnt have to be good very often and his opponent reps really narrow.

Although I'm not sure if he is on that level or is just clicking buttons

Yeah, but that's what I mean. So he's bluffing on the river. His bluff gets raised, but he calls anyway lol

Definitely clicking buttons

Re: Incredible Queen High Call

google translate from czech interview about that hand (the google translated this lol badly, but he is basically saying he had read on Zohar that he is donk betting with big hands, not check/raising. Also Zohar was extremly nervous... so yep soul read)

GT:
What led me to do? I think that the Zohar, if he was nuts, as it presented on the river, or rather tried to present it, it's 4-5, so I would definitely frontbetnul. So how did it with a 8-9, when he was flush, I had paid dearly for it with A high, because I wanted to see what he has. I wanted to see and how it will look - one with another.

I think if he really 4-5, it would simply frontbetnul. I had a blocker Q-4. I am over nepřemýšel or whether it will pay off, or so, but then I'm wondering where he can actually present only 4 to 5 I was looking at him - he was all red. You daughter, he will lie, I turn red, so you know he's lying. And dude, I communicated with him and was such a completely red and when I told him that he has either 10-8 or 6-5, so flushed even more. I thought it was bluff. And then I had viewed me on your feet, you had all strnuté entangled in a chair. I knew it was a bluff, I was just wondering if it callnout or send it there. So I callnul. I thought of safe bets 10-8 or 6 to 5 He showed me J-8, and it was good. I think his behavior spoke clearly. I turn it on check-raisoval so that when he turns a flush on the river, so it will still present. He would take me to the river with 2 pairs only paid a price, with some A-9 or A-3 ...

Re: Incredible Queen High Call

Yeah got to be a live tell if (big if) he's a thinking player. Obv a river c/r is super polarising and there's bluffs in his range but factor in he'll c/f air on the river a very high amount and we only beat bluffs maybe 80% of the time it's not a good call w/o a strong read he has a bluff often.

Re: Incredible Queen High Call

He basically said his opponent is super-polarized, coz he just calls with 2pair and ships only 45 to which he has a blocker and all the other openenders miss

I wouldn't take a man that has cards tattooed on his arms serious either, so nice pressure from the J high
