would be nice of they showed the 10k omaha, was never going to happen tho i suppose

Do they really think that people would rather watch 6 hours of Day 7 than the final of the $100k One Drop or the $25k 6-max tournaments? Coverage of the Main Event gets so tedious after a while.

They were already shown live with commentary. I guess they could make a highlight show but people that have already watched it aren't going to watch it again. Maybe 2 hours too many of day 7 but I still think the more the coverage of these highlight shows, the better. The 2 final tables you mentioned were already shown and I personally like watching the play up to the final table, like the 1 million dollar tourny last year. Final tables are going to be shown regardless.

Those final tables were only shown streaming over the internet, in a format that required you to watch for like 10 straight hours, usually resolving at like 5am eastern. The audience for something like that is like 1% of the audience for a prime time ESPN broadcast.

Why doesn't ESPN put together highlight shows from these tables that can be shown in 2 hours, since they already have the footage and the hole cards? They don't have to show them on the main network on prime time, but I have to think they would garner more views than the endless repeats of past years they are always showing on ESPN2.

Watching the Asia-Pacific Main Event Final Table now, Really wish they would have more a mix to the schedule.
