High Stakes Poker Season 6: Episode 1 - February 14, 8pm ET on GSN
The day has finally arrived, as the new season of the sixth season of High Stakes Poker airs at 8pm ET (with a repeat at 11pm ET) tonight on GSN. This year, the episodes will be airing in order, so here's how the lineup will look when action starts today:
Tom Dwan
Phil Ivey
Phil Hellmuth
Gus Hansen
Antonio Esfandiari
Andreas Hoivold
Dario Minieri
Daniel Negreanu
This is also the first year where players will be allowed to wear logos from the online sites they're sponsoring. Also of note is that Gabe Kaplan will provide commentary alone, with Kara Scott interviewing players after key hands, similar to Leeann Tweeden on Poker After Dark.

Re: High Stakes Poker Season 6 - Episode 1 - February 14
For those of you without GSN:
HOPEFULLY, GSN will be smart enough again to put full-length episodes of this season on Youtube ( www.youtube.com/gsnvideos) to allow people to watch online shortly after the show airs. That would be more preferred then letting random people download and upload the show themselves to promote some affiliate site. When the show appears on GSN's Youtube site, I will add it to the original post.
Anyways, even though I've put up a sticky and politely asked people to stop begging for links, people don't like to read stickies. So another gentle reminder: STOP BEGGING FOR LINKS IN THE ****ING THREAD! The show will appear online in various forms so there's no need to worry about it. Your begging doesn't get it up there any faster and all you're doing is cluttering up the thread. It creates more work for me to delete and give infractions for posting such a request, and it frustrates those who want to discuss the show.
I will create a separate thread each week dedicated to those who are unable to watch the show, since plenty of people don't have GSN (myself included) to complain, beg for links, etc. When the show is available on Youtube, then this weekly thread will be deleted. That doesn't mean you can make a post saying "PM me for links", because I'm deleting those as soon as I see them.
For those who prefer torrents, you know where the show is going to appear. There's no need to announce it in the thread, give its initials, or be cute and highlight certain letters, unless you want to earn some points and/or be banned for posting links there. The same goes for those of you asking for streams to watch the show, unless you're interested in watching commercials for various products for older women (GSN's usual demographic).

First
I predict Phil Hellmuth playing weak/tight, Ivey owning, Gus losing, Antonio will be in the green, Dario might lose 200 again, Durrrr will run good/profit/ez game, Ill go on an limb and say DN turns a profit, and AH might make 20k
Also i think Phil Hellmuth will be getting 3bet a lot, tanking with a speech, then folding.

hellmuth, negranu, hansen are probably the worst 3 holdem players in thisline up. we ll see who lost.
and as usual i am an ass and hope hellmuth just runs normally and consequently looses a ton .

Hellmuth will inevitably lose a ton. Antonius/Dwan/Ivey dominate, so standard.

Didn't Dwan go directly from a marathon losing session with Isildur to taping this show, with no sleep in between?

Correct. He went from 6 tabling Isildur1 HU to 1 tabling FR live. It's like jumping from a sauna into Arctic waters.

Perversely, I'm hoping to see Dwan a little rattled after the 5M Isildur beatdown, but more likely than not he won't appear affected in the least. Not by the loss or the lack of sleep.

Just an FYI to those with DIRECTV: The 7pm rerun is showing up in the program guide as a 2-hour episode, with no new episode listed for 8pm. If you have your DVR set to record only new episodes, you will miss it.

I hate the interviews after "key hands"... Because we all know the girl has no clue what she is talking about.
and Kara isnt even as hot as Leann.
