Re: High Stakes Poker will not invite Full Tilts Pros to upcomming season!

Im going to keep my hopes up about the show still being good the big game has had some excellent poker. Yes I wanna see Durr and Ivey but this might give some players who have never been on TV a shot at there 15minutes.

Wow. This is the worst thing to happen to poker since fulltilt released their blackcards.

Why are blackcards bad for poker?

Way too much blame on FTP. Why did Stars have to go and buy the show in the first place? thats greedy. This was the one neutral show and it was the best show.

+1

The neutrality was what made it great. Now it's been ruined by both parties - if GSN believes in it they shouldn't sell out.

I would say I'm not going to watch because this is so f gay, but I will. I'll just enjoy it about 10,000x less.

Hopefully POker After Dark will take this as an opportunity to step up to the plate, drop the SnGs, and start spreading $1k/$2k NLHE/PLO

I guess this means it's time for FTP to start it's own version of HSP...and no, I don't mean PAD cash games, but sick, high buy-in, multi-week long cash games, full of FTP players + some other young guns...

They have a version, called FTP Million dollar cash game, its pretty sweet.

FWIW HSP Would not have come back for season 6 if Stars hadn't stumped up the money pretty much. GSN were committed to poker for season 1-4 but then had a chance of tact and wanted to drop all that programming. Somehow it came back for S5 after a long break but S6 only happened pretty much cos of Stars involvement. This latest development sucks hard tho. It really is the beginning of the end of HSP's reign as the best poker show on TV.

If FTP pros are not going to be on HSP this year, PAD is officially the best poker show now. It is sad to see HSP becoming such a terrible show.
