I recall a year or so ago, Daniel Negreanu blogging about no PS players playing on PAD anymore because Full Tilt wanted to do something with their logos\advertising or some such on overseas broadcasts of the show.

Daniel did not agree with what FTP were trying to do, so was fully behind PS decision to not let PS players play on PAD any more. I thought that it got resolved though?

If the news about HSP is true it's a bit ironic\childish if Stars want to basicaly do the same thing.

This news hit me like a report on global warming. You hope it isn't true but don't even want to think about the consequences if it is.

Even in season 5 no one wore patches and it was a pretty decent season.

Daniel hasn't been on pad in over a year, he blogged about it and said he wasn't going to play on the show anymore because FTP banned pokerstars players from pad. Looks like that decision is gonna bite them in the ass. IMO it was FTP that started this.

High Stakes Poker will not be watchable without the full tilt pros

I like Daniel Negreanu and all, but he doesn't make up for easily the best line up of pros any team has out there

just Phil Ivey and Durrrr beat the entire Poker Stars team alone

I heard that FT told their pro's that they couldn't appear on the big game. And likewise PS asked their pro's not to play on PAD. This is just another battle on the site wars if it's true.

The winner will get Sammy to come back imo...

No PokerStars on PAD is way old...that announcement came like 2 years ago.

There's no way this is true, your story just doesn't add up OP. Pokerstars actually invited FTP pro's to the big game, which is basically just a 40 minute PS advertisment. The people at FTP didn't want their pros appearing on a Pokerstars "advertisment", so you got your story backwards OP.
