I have simple and maybe stupid answer: Dwan valubet.He thought he was ahead

That's what I thought too, right up until Dwan called out Eastgate's hand while he was stacking chips.

It was not a valuebet. He knew exactly what both players had.

Lol of course it wasn't a valuebet. He put them on exactly what they had and basically bullied them off the hand with a 100k bet... I'm not really sure what he was supposed to be repping though.

I think it was poor play by Dwan and Eastgate. Dwan didn't have the fold equity but Eastgate's feeble fold proved him right !

there was audio where barry goes thru the hand and describes reasons behind their actions. as far as i remember he talked about the hand for more than 15 mins

i listened to it few years ago; several months ago i wanted to listen to it again and the link did not work anymore and i searched for it and just could not find it anywhere..hopefully somebody saved it

- but the point was that tom played the hand really well and he was unhappy how quickly he folded his hand

It's not really a feeble fold... Barry's fold was worse (but still not bad) as Eastgate's hand has exactly the same value as his in that spot and there was one less person to worry about when it got to him.

pookomoo, on the other hand, since Eastgate holds a 2 he knows Dwan's chance of holding a 2 is much less likely that from Barry's point of view
