Yes.

Recently he was talking bout how there are too many phils in poker so they should all play a cash game and the biggest loser has to change his name to mike.

Thought that was funny.

I think he has said some very funny things. There have been some misses, sure. No one bats 1000 in that role.

Stapes is funny, no doubt about it. Some of the stuff is contrived but you could say that about anyone on tv. He's going to be a lot bigger one day.

Stapleton is extremely humorous, but not in a Norman Chad kind of way. More importantly, his knowledge of the game borders on insanity. He analyzes hands better than any other poker media personality. Does anyone think Vince Van Patten knows enough about poker to mention the effects of "a bloated strattled pot" like Joe does. I only saw a few episodes of "the Big Game", but Stapes jumped right out. His work is phenominal. I hope he gets to an even bigger stage. He deserves it.

If you can't even spell "statistically", it may be best to avoid commenting on its usage in a sentence.
