I actually like Stapes, I just don't think he's been doing a very good job. It's not just his fault either. Blame it on editors/producers/writers or whatever. (Also blame it on Fricke too) but whatever I hope it gets better or I'm gonna stop watching this show.

Stapes has been excelent, the entire show has been excelent. The best commentary of any cash game poker show currently shot.

This week the line up is a bit nitty and unexciting, but thats a static variable.

Only reason he has this job is his friendship with DN and Amanda. He is not funny, he has a horrible voice for TV. He doesnt even know the basics of the game after beeing around poker for many years and that is mindblowing stuff. So he is probably a goofball with low IQ that Kid poker likes to have around to dominate over.

you know its Jimmy Fricke who does all the analyze not Joe? I have listened to Joe talk about poker hands on pokerroad radio and believe me he has zero clue about the basic stuff of the game.

I think Staples is pretty hilarious. I saw someone else post it, but anyone who says "coolstorybro" on TV deserves props. Also like watching Amanda Leatherman on the show she's Hawt.
