Does anybody really think Joe Stapleton is funny? - Poker Card Room

I mean I used to just not listen to the tight lawdown on the Poker Beat, but if you watch the big game you cannot just turn off the sound ... This guy is terrible.

I think he is funny, although I don't think he si "poker funny" but comedy in general is good. Listen to two jacks in the hole, it is amazing and really funny.

I think Joe is funny. His contributions to the Big Game TV show are huge IMO. His dry wit with Jimmy Fricke's poker smarts make him/them at worst the best commentary for TV poker...ever. Check out the Two Jacks in the Hole podcast for Joe in his native non-poker habitat. Good stuff.

stapes is hilarious. two jacks is an awesome podcast, he's also good hosting when he fills in on PRR or poker beat. the fact that he also manages to get some humor into the big game is impressive. i guess gobbo deserves some of the praise for that as well tho.

stapes is fast approaching gabe level. theyre both great commentators.
