The game was new and Ivey 4bet vs 2 people that already raised. Not only that but the 2 people in the hand he never played with before. It was pretty obvious he had a big pocket pair and as OP posted, Ivey was only worried about aces.

Based on Doug Polk's youtube video about scammers in poker, it looks like Brad has been paying him back what he owes him but I doubt he is still involved in Poker outside of that. It seems like he's probably a desk jockey somewhere and is indirectly having his wages garnished to pay back the debt.
