TBH I paid for the year subscription with the discount promo code, but it's not going to be worth it in the end. It's only worth it for May through July. After that what is going to be streamed? Moreover, the "Vault" content is all crappy Poker After Dark Seasons 1 and 2. Why not have all the Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker? Negotiate a license with the holder of the IP and get it on the damn app. I want to watch cash games not PAD sit n gos.

Also, what happened to the Super High Roller Bowl CASH GAME???? I mean if you're going to start your own stream at least run the cash game that you ran last year, which was pretty sick.

So we have to pay for WSOP final tables this year and then on top of it, we only get a couple vents to watch? What kind of BS is this? Way to drop the ball WSOP. You had sucha good thing going. I would hands down pay for a subsrciption if you were airing all final table events, but this is crap.

While I don't like having to pay to watch, and it sucks to have to wait sometimes days in between events (or the fact that event coverage typically starts late in the day on EST), I've got to say the quality of coverage and subsequent commentary have been far better than anything I've ever seen before. Especially enjoyed watching the SHRB, and also enjoyed the Matt Berkey doc (hadn't seen that one before). I'd recommend at least subscribing for the series.

First off I like Norm and Lon, but Tuchman and all the random guests he had was the best format ever and was what made the WSOP live stream something to look foward to every summer. The new POKERGO format of just streaming NO LIMIT HOLDEM tourneys sucks ASS. I think the veiwers including myself would love to see the BIG BUY IN MIXED games, like the RAZZ, STUD and STUD H/L, OMAHA and OMAHA H/L and maybe even a few other different games. These game feature final tables LOADED with big names and highly skilled players that most poker fans I'm sure enjoy watching. Also, instead of putting David Tuchman on the side line to twiddle his thumbs why not let him LEAD streams on Norm and Lon's off days, or at least let him in the game sometimes. What a joke!

Also, after having watched Jeff Gross' animated twitch stream over SCOOP, it's been pretty funny to see him much more reserved as a desk commentator.

Different criticism:

As a software developer and casual fan who enjoys watching high level tournaments, I am wondering who designed that website to have a homepage with a headline "Cristoph Vogelsang Wins" and a button "Watch."

Paraphrase: "Click this button to watch 40 hours of a poker tournament that Cristoph Vogelsang wins."

Typically when tournament replays are offered on websites or replayed on TV they are not marketed with a picture of the winner holding up his ring. I think it's time to fire the marketing guy.

Haha, just shared the site with a graphic designer friend, and he agrees. Feels like a beefed up Squarespace site. Any site that has a long band of content followed by 3 blocks probably is.

I like the coverage of the final tables they are doing although its disappointing they are not airing more non NL holdem tournies. Also I like David Tuchman and his analysis..

Considering we have to pay this year I think having more coverage of a wider variety of final tables would have been much better.

I thought they did an excellent job, though I'd have preferred less emphasis on production, including axing the well done but superflous break desk, and more emphasis on POKER PLAYING.

I can't believe they are not broadcasting the 50k players championship or, frankly, anything else until the main (and isn't EPSN doing that anyway?).

I don't know what is involved with the poker production but I imagine set up is a great deal of the overall capital cost -- is it not true that LON and a free pro like Doug plus a few production guys and gals is marginal compared to the set up?

Also the exit interviews are nice but I'm sure the players don't like talking to a face when knocked out short of the bracelet and frankly I'd rather have one more tournament shown than all the interviews they do each year.

Oh dude the actual website is awful and barely functioning to be honest. It was the same way with pokercentral. Website itself needs a serious overhaul. Also for 8+ hour long vods it should be saving your timestamp when you exit so you can come back to it imo.

Agree. At first I was pretty against it but I've gotten a number of hours of usage out of it so far, well worth my $10. Keeping it after the main event though is something we will see about.
