I hope this doesn't happen...Gabe and AJ are an awesome team and HSP is the best show hands down...if they get eye candy, make it Kimberly Lansing and have her talk to somebody after huge hands on the sidelines, like on PAD

Not to be contrarian, but...

I like AJ, too, and it would be stupid to replace him solely for the sake of eye candy. But what if they could get someone who was hot AND funny - sort of a straight dumb blonde (or brunette) as Kaplan's foil. Although she'd also have to understand poker so the thing didn't become a complete sideshow. Could be like George Burns and a sexy version of Gracie Allen.

the thing that makes great commentary depends on how well they play off each other. aj and gabe work great. AJ announces the action and gabe cracks jokes/provides semi useful info into what the players might be thinking (why they made the move they did).

if this eye candy knows nothing about poker (likely). then gabe cant really play off her.

AJ is a terrible commentator... but eye candy would be worse because she would have no idea what the hell she is talking about. Get a commentator that doesn't have an annoying voice and knows what they are talking about, eye candy is just a plus. Ali Nejad would be a good commentator to replace AJ.

hopefully GSN is reading this becuase if they replaced AJ with some bimbo the show would be crap as far as commentary, Gabe and AJ's banter is second to none

Good god I hope they don't do it. The show is already the best and I don't think anything (besides Antonius wearing a tutu) would make it better. Unless of course, Phil Ivey wants to be a commentator. I'd love to hear his thoughts.

Had to register because the Dynamic Duo can't be torn apart. They work so good together.

The Annoying voice, c'mon who has more annoying voice than Ali Nejad. Had real problems watching PAD when the helium voice premiered, though I watch the show regulary.

Eye candy makes no sense for HSP... now "ear candy" could. But I agree, AJ & Gabe have a good rapport and that's important.

What they should do is get rid of AJ and Gabe.. fairly worthless and disposable, both of them.

Sure I enjoy their talking, but the show would be fine without it.

Instead get two hot chicks and keep them in insert boxes on the screen the whole time while they are poll-dancing/gogo dancing around the action.
