AJ Benza replaced by a woman on HSP - Poker Card Room

I heard AJ on the Miserable Men show on Sirius and he claimed that HSP just signed on for a new season. He also claimed that they are thinking about replacing him with some eye candy. Do you think this is a good idea? I kind of like AJ.
He also called Dwan the Matrix. commenting on how crazy he plays.

I hope this is the right thread I thought about putting it in NVG.

AJ is a good commentator who can follow the action. Eye candy usually can not.

Big mistake if true. The eye candy is only visible for a minute ot two through the show anyway. I thought that is what the hot waitresses were for.

Mori would have to have a pipe literally in his hand to mess with the chemistry of such a great show. Celebrity Poker Showdown ring a bell? That was not a show for 2p2ers but it had a good formula before and it sucked after this would too.

Why would you need eye candy in the commentary booth? How can Gabe make fun of someone attractive sitting next to him? This would be totally insane

Can't get rid of Benza. If anything, he should be kept on just so Gabe can make his one requisite "Mysteries and Scandals" joke per episode. Kills me every time.

Why are people always trying to "fix" what is not broken?

I hope they have come to their senses and realized that AJ Benza + Gabe is a great combination that does not need tampering!

Eye Candy...WTF? As mentioned, we already have some eye candy on the show.

If they want to improve the show, make it a two hour program.

If they really want eye-candy, hire someone hot to do the intro/summing up segments at the beginning and the end of the show, but for crying out loud, don't **** with the AJ/Gabe combo in the announcer's booth. It's not easy to find two guys with great chemistry, but these two have had it pretty much since day 1 (even if the banter has switched from AJ having no clue about poker to AJ having a little bit of a clue)

worse move to listen to Miserable Men show featuring the hack pack- licking blue cheese from a whores dirty ass does not equal comedy
