I heard AJ on the Miserable Men show on Sirius and he claimed that HSP just signed on for a new season. He also claimed that they are thinking about replacing him with some eye candy. Do you think this is a good idea? I kind of like AJ.
He also called Dwan the Matrix. commenting on how crazy he plays.

AJ is a good commentator who can follow the action. Eye candy usually can not.

Big mistake if true. The eye candy is only visible for a minute ot two through the show anyway. I thought that is what the hot waitresses were for.

Replacing him with a dumb bimbo would be extremely lame.

Mori would have to have a pipe literally in his hand to mess with the chemistry of such a great show. Celebrity Poker Showdown ring a bell? That was not a show for 2p2ers but it had a good formula before and it sucked after this would too.

Why would you need eye candy in the commentary booth? How can Gabe make fun of someone attractive sitting next to him? This would be totally insane

Can't get rid of Benza. If anything, he should be kept on just so Gabe can make his one requisite "Mysteries and Scandals" joke per episode. Kills me every time.

I generally think it's a bad move, but what if it were someone who knew poker like Kara Scott?

I find that some of hte banter that AJ and kaplan do is quite funny.
