are you the lone host that has all files at 100%? all the eps are chugging along at ~0.1 kB/s, and have been for quite awhile. they are moving, but at an excruciatingly slow pace. im at 40% on one ep, ~30% on 3 eps, 20% on 1, 10% on another....

cant figure out why they arent moving, but im just gonna leave them going. any ideas?

Episode 1-12 done in 720p. I still can't find 13 and 14 on the PokerCentral site.

you rock, dude. ....i cant find them either. i was thinking they had effed up and messed up the naming scheme, so i tried a few diff URLs to see if i could find them (instead of s1-e13...., i tried s01-e13, etc) but to no avail. i like PC as an idea, but the execution seems somewhat poor thus far.

seems like they are all moving at a blistering 15-100 kB/s now ....still much better than nothing. i can be patient when needed. im giving the flash rips another go tonight using your instructions. even though you already have them done i wanna be able to rip some content myself in the future. thanks again.

(random observation...did you notice they have the original filename as the page header/name in the title bar? "VOD LFE SHRC EP9mp4" ...thought that was pretty funny/amateurish. they cant even make a proper title?)

Yep the earlier episodes were OK, but the later ones had dodgy titles.

man, i just rewatched episode 1 (had been awhile since id seen it) and noticed how badly they messed up the editing. they repeated the first 4 hands of the episode randomly about halfway in. whoever is in charge of editing these episodes needs to be fired. at 26:39, after the hand in which tilly takes the pot off of antonio with her 32dd vs his A9hh, the episode cuts back to the beginning!

heres what happens:

- episode starts and shows 10 hands, with the last "correct order" hand shown before the editing mistake being tillys 32dd vs antonios A9hh where he makes top 2 vs her straight

then the cut mistake happens....

- after tilly 32 vs antonio A9 hand, episode cuts back to beginning, rolls intro
- first hand of episode is shown again, iveys A9ss vs bob bright A9dd
- second hand of ep shown again, antonios AJo vs chans TT, chan flops top set
- third hand of ep shown again, doyles KJcc vs JRBs AA
- fourth hand of ep show again, folds to tilly in SB and she raise and takes it with 96o
- it then cuts to aussie matt joining the table, which i believe should have actually been (correctly) shown after the 10th hand from the beginning of the episode, that hand being the tilly 32 vs antonio A9.

i believe from that point the timeline shown is correct, as the episode now resumes with aussie matt at the table and shows hands we had not seen up until that point. rest of the episode plays out correctly. so the actual order should have been:

- roll intro
- show first 10 hands, first being iveys A9ss vs brights A9dd, tenth being tillys 32dd vs antonios A9hh.
- aussie matt joins table, episode plays out from there.

i can try to chop the parts up in handbrake or mkvtoolnix, but i might not be able to get it done perfectly because in both of those programs it seems it only lets you cut down to a minimum of 5 second intervals. so i cant do the first cut at 26:39, as it auto changes it to 26:40...im gonna figure out a way to edit it for myself even if you dont want to bother with it. if you dont feel like messing with that i might put my fix on K@T.

...I figured out how to split the files in handbrake. I now have a fixed episode 1. I can send it to you if you want to upload the fix. up to you. I tried to keep the bitrate as close as possible to your originals.

final file size is 677 MB. bitrate is 2.83 Mb/s avg. total runtime 37:49.

your original is 787 MB. bitrate avg 2.20 Mb/s. runtime 47:38.

that 10 minutes is obviously lost because of the removal of the redundant hands. still can't believe an oversight that egregious can slip by. who the hell is running the show over at PC?

Grr. Pretty annoying. The 360p version already uploaded isn't missing any action, so I'd prefer to go with it even though the quality is lower.

edit: just went back and skipped through e01 on the site...for some reason that editing mishap skips out 2 hands that the 360p version has on k@t. one where chan 3bets the SB with AK and takes it down on the flop, and another where bright has 22 vs antonios ATo and antonio takes it down with aces up.....i wonder then, where the hell did the 360p uploader source his rips from? what medium is PC broadcasting 360p content in, and how is it possible for 2 different sources to have 2 different versions, even with one of them being messed up....eh, i give up.

Maybe he captured the live stream from Twitch and the ones on PokerCentral are the archived episodes with a stuff up for episode 1? It's all getting too confusing!!

Strange - the site and the torrent client are showing many seeds, but when I check the peers, they do indeed seem stuck. At least you know there's one seeder - me! Hopefully they will complete properly soon for everyone...

seems that e01, e02, e04, e05, and e08 are 100% across multiple peers and moving at a steady pace. all others are really dragging, but hey, at least theyre moving! are you seeding from .au? that was the only peer ive seen that has 100% across the aforementioned eps.

all have completed 100%. thanks again, dude. really well done. still pretty frustrating about the ep1 editing fiasco, but thats beyond our control. hopefully poker central hires somebody that knows what theyre doing or theyll be bankrupt quicker than it takes the businessmen to play a 250k pot!
