LOL @ Larry folding a set on a 3-way flop after a $20 UTG raise and then telling Justin that he folded a set.

In the other hand, I can't believe Justin thought he could get Larry to fold the river.

The guys must LOL when they watch the video.

Melanie has a nice singing voice, but god damn it's incessant.

Thanks for the support guys...I really do appreciate it.

For Olaff, my apologies, I'll work harder.

Mr. Tuckman,

You can't script a simultaneous brogasm.

Nicole is great play by play. Dinkin is ok play by play but cannot follow the action.

Chin gets flak but I really don't mind him too much. I think the play by players with a good strat guy are the best combos. Prob nichoel with Bart/tuch are the best combos. Owais is decent color. Brian and Owais are not bad. Melanie and Jeff need direction when they are together and are tourney players.

dinkin wasnt that bad the last couple times he was on so idk what was up... it pretty sad tho when madsen has to keep it running lol ..jeff was actually really good .hope he keeps it up .... and ill add just because , no more melanie please

Just watched 5/9 episode. Can't say I got much value from watching a 2/3 game.

Yeah nobody that plays 2/3 is ever good, you have to play $5 blind level to be any good at poker and even then you're only half as good as 10$ blind level players... Nothing to learn from those bad players

What's interesting is that LATB $5/$10 is probably the softest $5/$10 in the world. And honestly, it's so packed with fish that there's little to be learned. Maybe 1-2 grinders thrown in but the rest is like OMG... Hopefully this post will bring some grinders into that game and it will be a bit more interesting to watch.

P.S. I suspect Bike $3/$5 ad $5/$5 might actually be tougher games than their $5/$10.

Why do you think grinders will be more interesting to watch? That seems backwards...

Watching better players play helps us play better
05-12-2014 , 03:19 PM
That's true...I guess what I meant was when I think of "grinders", I think of boring TAG-nits who don't do anything interesting or entertaining.

Nice to see Nicole again and Melon-y...what's up with the website/youtube video thing though?????

^^ the Bike's 5-10 game is usually very soft, ... but it's not even comparable to their smaller games. The $5/$5 and smaller games are fantastic

in addition, we've had pleny of "grinders" on the show. Because the 5/10 game is so soft, when we have grinders on, they are often quite boring. I could care less who plays...poker is poker to me and I find it all entertaining and educational. That said, a "grinder" isn't going to do anything too fancy when the amateurs are giving it away

That was two and a half months ago tho, so I dunno.

I'll treasure the 5/12 episode since it's probably the last decent commentary we get until after the WSOP.

With any luck Melanie will go off to the WSOP.

EPIC MONKEY TILT HAND STARTS AT 2:27

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS

Looks like the new LiveAtTheBike.com website is up -- glad to see them making some progress. A few issues, though:

-- The video format is .wmv, which is a terrible choice... it's not cross-platform or mobile friendly. Hopefully .mp4 is coming

-- I can't log in using my old login/password. I'm guessing accounts weren't migrated, and I have to sign up again?

-- There's no indication of the duration of any of the video clips available for sale, or a preview of them to see what you'll be getting.

-- Most of the URLs don't go to a domain name, but rather a hard-coded IP address: 208.113.172.101

-- The SSL certificate for the server isn't valid; no way I'm submitting any credit card info until that's taken care of

-- The server seems to be really slow going from page to page (the streaming video via YouTube is fine though)

-- Many of the pages seem undone/unfinished

I'm pretty unlikely to pay $3.95 for a video clip, but on the plus side, it's nice that the site finally works from my mobile phone, and the WordPress install is using a responsive theme.
