I've been pleasantly surprised by how much I've enjoyed the coverage tonight. The commentary was the usually entertaining banter. There were beaucoup suck-outs and river-river hands which were entertaining to watch. The players were not, for the most part, *******s. The heads up play was interesting enough. The winner is cute (which I know is really super very important to the average 2 + 2'er!). Anyway, this poker was more entertaining than I had expected it to be, so it's all good as far as I'm concerned.

Now if they'd only start up coverage of the mixed game events, I'd be happy for real for real!

After the last commercial break they come back and say 'oh well during the break Eriquezzo takes down a pot raising the turn with 9 high crippling Stone!'...felt pretty insulting to not see that hand

I'm at the point where I have absolutely no interest in TV Tournaments.
I'd rather watch unknowns play $5-10NL

The Main Event coverage is kind of fun, because you just see the amazing hands, but other than that, what's the point?

even tho short tourney for me , is a great tourney and opportunity, hope to be in next yr, hopefully next yr show a little more than just the ft

Am I the only one that was extremely annoyed by Norman Chad on the first episode of the national championship? He sounds like a complete douche talking about the guys hats being backwards and giving his opinion on how everyone is dressed. I just thought it was really stupid.

Im a big nerd of tv poker, but this was hands down the worst ft I've ever seen and its not close.. that said, I worked in Norman Oklahoma so would not have thought of that otherwise..

As far as production goes, the televised epts are light yrs ahead of everything else.
