I don't know if this was very bad scripting, or very good subtle scripting.
Board was like 743 or something, turn 7.

"turn was a total blank"

He has K which makes the NFD on a paired board and starts saying he has the nuts and can't lose.

These games seem sketchy. Even if the players are 5x worse then casino guys I think the high rake + risk of me getting stabbed and robbed make these games a -ev venture.

As far as it being scripted, it seems odd that they would go through all that trouble for one isolated 30 minute episode. If it was a series, I could see it maybe. So I'm on the fence about this one.

And why does a guy so worried about being arrested or robbed go on national TV and give a rundown of his illegal business?

30 seconds into it the narrator says "the people who run them take a piece of every pot".

Breezy looked about as white as you can get. Are you kidding?

I'd say he's irish-American.

Just played with Breezy at the Borgata Million gtd. Solid player, very aggressive. All I know from my time playing/running underground games is that all the money leaves the table from the rake--eventually. It's bad etiquette to leave a casino table after winning a lot of money from someone, just imagine what its like at one of these games. IMO the show was a somewhat decent portrayal of the underground lifestyle, always looking over your back,, never invite strangers. yada yada yada. Been to games where practically whole table is on credit, makes for crazy pots. At the end of the day running the game is the biggest concern,,, have to keep look out for undercovers, robbers, and scammers. Too much stress too little reward. Speaking of which, gonna see if theres a game going now lol.

I would have to say that it is definitely not bad etiquette to leave a casino table after winning a lot of money from someone. That's the whole point of you being there!

Mush plays regularly at the Palm Beach Kennel Club. He's a low-stakes player who commonly limps KK from late position and rarely 3b with QQ. He'll then succeed with a seemingly thoughtless bluff and puff his chest... before later cursing as he loses with slow-played AA.

That's a long way from NYC! Does he ever make his way up to Jacksonville??

This show started off real documentary-ish and finished off with a healthy dose of reality show-isms when Mush started to become the focus. Then his nephew tried to fight to defend his uncle's honor? It got real sloppy, real fast.

It aired again tonight.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if parts of the show were staged.

Also major LOL at Mush saying he had the nuts when he had a flush on a paired board.

Guarantee you the entire thing was staged. That's simply how "reality" shows work.

They're not staged. They're scripted.

Nice to know I didn't miss anything by not taping it for later viewing.

Lol this is great, I'm playing 2/5 at borgata with Joey.

He is a freaking fun ass dude. I feel like I'm on the episode! He he acts like the show totally.

He said the producers gave him money to play with half way through so things would get more exciting.

Great guy.

This show just popped up in my YouTube suggestions and it's funny that Dentale uses the nickname Mush in the show.
