Getting 2.3:1 there's no way you can fold here. You have odds unless his range is KK+ which is pretty unrealistic

I'd usually fold the flop but you absolutely need to fold the turn.

OOP 200 BB in an inflated pot really sucks in general - BTN would seem to have an uber-tight range (QQ+/AK?). Even if he has JJ, on a lot of boards (like this one) you may have to put your whole stack in to find out if it's the 1/3 pairs that you beat. If he has AK unimproved on the flop, you may have to call a big bet to find out if he's going to slow down. You probably don't have set odds even 200 BB deep (he won't pay you off sometimes, even when you flop set and get it in you lose 200 BB a % of the time).

I.e., play the playa and his position, fold PF as odd/bad as that may seem. Calling and C/Folding if you don't set flop is probalby okay too (i.e. if he'll check behind his missed AK sometimes and you can play from the Turn on, etc.).

why do you call pf if you fold this flop?

Setmining. Guys as tight as he is at FR very often are not 3betting AK/JJ

Sometimes I'll 3bet sometimes I'll just flat here w/e. Villain was 17/14 ish tight over 100 or so hands. cbet 80%.

Cleinen, I would be inclined to fold that river without history. WTF is he value betting and he only has like 35, A3, A5 to turn into bluffs though he will sometimes turn a smaller pp into a bluff. Half pot is hard to fold though, so calling isn't going to be too bad from a pot odds point of view.
Betting 20 and folding to a shove is hard to do, but that is the best line imo. FWIW, I would take that line with AcQc too.

I don't really like the passive line vs one opponent. That said I can't ever see myself flding on the river... not that calling is right, but I am not capable of folding there... yet

I think c/c is fine. I think you have to call if you check since checking likely enduces a bluff, especially on that river.

there are numerous hands he could have been trying to c/r the flop on. 99+, he can have A8, 88, 33, 22 etc. If he has 88 or 56 good for him. Also, my "just get it in" comment is my general way of saying raise the river.

You gotta discount JJ+ for 3betting most of the time pre - and 99 and TT will 3 bet pre sometimes too. 99 and TT will often look for c/r on the flop, but turn and river play don't really look like a hand anywhere in the A8 - 87 range and if his hand is in that range he's bet-folding the river a lot when he does bet.

summary: Never folding better, rarely calling with worse, quite possible he has better.
