If he was 47/26/0.3 then he could be dumb enough to try CR on 2 streets with the nutz. DD i feel ur pain. Im down 6 buyins @ 10NL this weekend in spots like this when u get CRAI by a drooler.

It's the "in" thing nowadays to CR the nuts on the river. I think they saw Durrrr do it on HSP or something. In any case, I think I only miss a very small amount of value from worse hands here and am pretty much hating life if he raises.

They never c/r the river on a bluff here, I've been vbetting these boards successfully at lowstakes recently, just like $2 or something tiny.

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
Am I the only one who would bet the turn looking to get it in vs this guy? I think hes going to have a lot more 1 & 2 pair hands in his range than straights, and he like to call obv.

Nope I always bet the turn, and call a raise - welded to my hand!

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
Can someone knock some ****ing sense into me please...
I didn't expect Ax hands to be in less than AT. And if I got raised at any point I would have puked. So I played it to induce bluffs.
I'm playing like **** and running like ****, confidence is low atm.

Really? The turn seems like one of the worst cards in the deck imo. Maybe I'm a nit.

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
I'm not betting that turn ever DD, it didnt even create flush draw so we dont have to bet to protect. Either WA/WB

even if it's were true that we are WA/WB (we have 10 outs if behind), so what if they get it in when we are WA?

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
My problem with the hand is I just don't see myself as being WA often enough to warrant betting the turn. There aren't a lot of hands imo that call that big of a flop rr that didn't get there on the turn. And I can potentially still stack someone with a made straight if I fill up on the river.

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
you don't have to be way ahead to bet. fwiw i think they have QJ, QT, Q9 prob as much or more than Kx or 8x (which likely wont even raise).
this isnt close to wa/wb. they can have a couple of outs (+ chop outs) or you have 10. 10 outs is a ****ton if you're behind

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
KQo is an awkward hand. I'd probably 3bet this guy or fold it. He's not so wide from UTG that KQo does real well, especially given his AF is 7 which means you pretty much have to close your eyes and call 3 streets if you hit.
As played, I'd probably bet the turn and river. I'd definitely bet the river larger than you did. He's never really checking better to you twice, and if he's calling 2 he's probably calling 4-6.
I'm assuming that this guy has kinda bet bet bet so far to have that AF, so when he checks the turn I'd be inclined to think he has something (like JT, AJ, QT, etc) and would be looking to value town him. Of course, he could be just giving up, but if that's the case there's really not much you want him to improve to call a bet on the river. Also, people don't take the b/c/b line that often as a bluff, so I don't think checking back the turn induces that often, especially when he's barreling his air on the turn a lot.
Wow, I rambled...was going to be a short post.

Re: STTF SNG -> Cash Thread #2
Meh I think I'd fold that KQ pre most of the time, but I guess 4x UTG raises in FR are usually a tad stronger than in 6 max.
