Almost all of the turbo SNG content I've seen in the past few years has been mediocre at best. If you're extremely new to poker or SNGs, these videos might help you understand basic strategy and how chips in tournament play differ from those in cash (i.e. cEV does not equal $EV). In addition, they'll give you a template of how to beat the games...if you took a time machine back to 2006.
I'm not sure how to explain the dearth of quality strategy videos for 9 man/18 man formats, but the game has evolved quite a bit in the last few years and the players sticking with the 'nit it up early push-bot late' are getting absolutely destroyed in medium stakes or higher.
Thank you so much for replying guys esp u acbarone! im currently following your thread in the pg&c u sicko!...no im not completely new to poker and actually played SNGs when i first started playing..in the past ive read Kill Everyone and Collin Moshman's book but it seems like its so hard to find good or recent SNG videos out there today (only hypers, HU, n spin n gos
)...i actually recently found one video series (for $79) that was made by Gamb64 but he made it back in early 2014..do you think its too old? btw do u coach by any chance? or maybe u should record yourself on how to beat low stakes SNGs (not your usually high stakes) cause i would def buy it...anyway good luck with your SNE run!
