Bovada $5 SNG, Blinds: 25/50, 7handed

Preflop: UTG1(3286) opens 150, Button(2132) jams, Hero(2928) QQ in SB

Stats: UTG1=22/22 over 24 hands; Button=35/15 with 17%3bet over 24hands

So a few other side notes, I had already doubled and so had the original raiser. I've often read that SNG strategy dictates looking to fold in spots like this because of tournament equity and perhaps avoiding high variance spots in the earlier stages.

With all that said, the spots seems to be a very profitable call/reshove. Even if BB or UTG overcalls with KK+ (only occurs about 5% of time), and if Button's shove range is 88+/AK then I would still turn a profit of 436 chips.

Is this enough of a profit to risk exposing our entire stack to the original raiser, and two-thirds our stack to the Button's range?

I'd guess his range, based on those fishy stats, is bit wider than that, and probably doesn't include AA (/KK?). I'd call this though I'm not all that thrilled putting 60bb in pre.

Did he make this move before, or were his previous 3bets non-AI?

Don't fold QQ pre in a 5 dollar SNG ever, unless there is some absurd ICM consideration.

Unfortunately I was multitabling and wasn't able to notice if his 3bets were shoves or standard-sized. I tend to assign very tight ranges when evaluating a hand, mostly to be conservative and because any extra hands they have in that range are extra profit in my calculations.

Great point about his range most likely excluding AA/KK, hadn't thought of that.

This seems like fairly sounds advice. I feel like a lot of the strategy books/articles I read a catered towards mid/high levels, and therefor don't account for the fact that micro vills will be shoving significantly wider in spots just like this. Wide enough to make QQ a never-fold
