how would you proceed from flop on ?

b/c, it's the best chance to stack mid pairs. You don't want any overs to their pair to hurt your ability to get value on the turn, plus spades & As are bad some on the turn.

way ahead/behind spot here and with the stack sizes i don't mind either betting or checking here. whatever line you think limits your loses to villains made hands, but increase your profits from villians dominated hands. Pehaps betting flop and check calling turn and/or river might be the best line vs a fish here? Fish show up with jx qx kx hands a LOT in these spots. So we really limit our losses to wiffy hands. Can we get 3 streets of value on a paired board vs a fish? 2 streets seem more realistic? I have been reraised on the turn often enough by fish in these spots and 90% of the time you are toast. Fish rarely have a bluffing range there and equally they fold more beat hands on the turn than they fold beaten hands on the river. So I often like a bet/check/bet line and fold to any reraising on the flop or turn

n.b - i usually like to bet 30-40% on paired boards as the preflop raiser with 15-20bbs effective stacks as a side note - just to keep stacks as shallow as possible, same with cbetting in a 3bet pot

like tomos idea to bet smaller pre (although) villain is really, really loose.
i often bet smaller in those spots too.
also like bet smaller on flop. like to have a 3 as first number but tomo is obv very extraordinary in betsizing

Not really. In a true WA/WB spot, you'd be about equally WA and WB (the canon example is KK on an A high flop, and most of the reason not to bet is that villain simply folds just about everything you beat). Here, you're far more often WA.

I wouldn't bet as little as tomo because he's pricing in Asxs.
