Think today was the first time watching an Olympic sport where I was happy a fellow countryman lost.
This Dutch fencer hyped himself as a gold medal favourite and is basically an arrogant tool. So I found myself quite relieved when he got destroyed by the reigning european champion from Germany. So hard to root for someone who is just extremely meh.

To me he was the Phil Hellmuth of fencing, very cocky when winning and everytime he got hit hinting as to the other guy getting lucky or his equipment not working.

Like that bet in that, unfortunately for him, his competitors have a lot more incentive to gamble on cycling up on PEDs for these Olympics than he does. His brand's too valuable to take that chance lightly.

On a positive note I got promoted and got my biggest ever pay rise of my career last month and our company won the contract for a huge new development at Manchester City FC which I am going to work on.
