I came up with the bright idea to open up a 2nd account under my brothers name. I could 32 table high stakes super turbos and make double the money. At first I wasn't going to play in the same games (let alone collude), but my greed and stupidity got the better of me. 2 weeks later I had both of my accounts closed and funds seized by full tilt.

Pretty sick stuff tbh. I generally don't think that people change, but I really dunno what do I think about this. One thing for sure is anyone who plays high stakes PS game with him would greatly benefit if he got banned. I know I would when we played on FTP in same games with him.

However it just doesn't make a lot of sense to punish someone on a different site to where he commited crime before, without him commiting anything.

It's not a punishment because he doesn't have the right to play on Stars.

Does it make sense that Stars has to let someone play who has admitted to cheating in poker? That would be punishing Stars.

Well yeah real world casinos share black lists. Cause for them the answer on your question is "no, not a lot sense". Would become especially true if they buy FTP.

But he generates tens of thousands of rake monthly so maybe thats a little different story for them. Although using the same name nick etc.. Probably not the smartest idea.

With Josem around at Stars we're all pretty confident that they wouldn't give a rat's ass about how much rake a player generated if they were cheating.
