Re: Official STT Video Thread

Would be nice to get some higher stakes players posting some videos! I would be willing to pay for that.

And also, if you liked the video, feel free to send me tremendous amounts of money.

Sure. Whats your account number and pin? (need pin for verification and statistical reasons).

As said earlier, would be very nice(!) to have some higher limit videos in, or anything for that matter.

It's saved as a weird file type, like a shockwave video, so I had to download something called GOM player to view it.

You can download this for free, just google it.

Let me know how you like it

Re: Official STT Video Thread

I have been trying to record and post a video for my coach to watch. I can record (using camtasia) and watch and listen to my own video, but I am having trouble posting my video to a web site so he can watch. The 1 hour video sizes have ranged from 400-800MB or KB (I can't remember). I tried recording full screen, then just one small 400x600 sized table (w/ audio).

Anyone have these issues and have any idea what I might be doing wrong and how I can post my video. I tried posting to screencast.com and youtube.

Thanks

If you look on page 1 guitarizt gives Camtasia settings and then on page 2 he further explains how to edit it with virtual dub which is free editing software. His video was 40mb four tabling, great picture and sound quality.

@Rodolphe

Check the first post. I think it is Vers' last video, he uses Popopop to explain an sng.

Re: Official STT Video Thread

Ive seen that youve been running bad lately Bedz, ~40BIs down!

How did that happen? Your playy looked so solid on the Vid, would have played most hands the same.

Re: Official STT Video Thread

I guess you, as many players from pokerstrategy, have no clue about sng variance. A 40 buyin downswing will happen, even to very solid players. Depending on your true roi worse things can and will happen over a large samplesize.

regards

oh well just looked at the video you were talking about:

setting goals for a 400 games samplesize also is rather optimistic, variance is waaaay to big on that small of a samplesize...
you made your notes very late... do you always play 4 tables in sets? i would fall asleep

im gonna watch further and edit afterwards

No, I keep 4 tables going. Played a set just so that it would end.

And 40 buy-in downswing?? I think that is counting in HU SNGs, and I had a sick 2 weeks playing those, going + a total of 5 buyins. So what you see there is probobly some of that, and also I have been running so so.

The goal is just a goal, just to motivate myself. And, what is an good enough sample size to know, according to you?

That has nothing to do with PS.

And I know about variance.

I just thought there might have been something that influenced Bedzs game.

Re: Official STT Video Thread

Hey guys, I decided to make a video. I am a very new player, only been playing a few months. I am just looking to learn some by posting a video on here and getting some feedback. Thanks!
