After a bit of a break from playing SNGs I'm starting to remember why I stopped playing them.

From what I am told... becoming a good SNG player translates to tourneys better than cash to tourneys... FWIW.

Re: Official STT BBV Thread imo (beat: sngs)

on these days I want to claw my eyes out and and run my head through a window

I mtfkn swear everytime I'm like "wow that is so horrible, if god knew someone would make that play someday he wouldn't have bothered with the whole creation ****" I end up bubbling versus a bluffcalling retard

****mylife

I want to rip my spine out and strangle a furry animal with it.
I want to smash my hand into a wall until my mom got scared and said "you're moving with your aunte and uncle in Bel-Air"

I begged and pleaded with her day after day but she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way she gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket I put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it

First class, yo this is bad, drinking orange juice out of a champagne glass if this's what the people of Bel-Air livin' like, hmm this might be alright!

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the licensplate said "Fresh" and had a dice in the mirror if anything I could say that this cab was rare but I thought now forget it, go home to Bel-Air

I pulled up to the house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby "Go, home smell you later" looked at my kingdom I was finally there to sit my throne as the prince of Bel-Air

Re: Official STT BBV Thread imo (beat: sngs)

Sunday, monday, tuesday I played mtts. I ft'd three of them - was CL going into one, 2nd at another .. and I think avg stack the third - All three I finished 7th which has been dissapointing.

Along this time, I would load up sngs that looked good during my mtts. During this time, I literally got ****ed up the ass on 4 or 5 bubbles LAUGHABLY ... and after 50k+ sngs for a bubble to stick out, it has to be something special. I can particularly remeber sweating / losing the following bubbles on the riv:
- a 1 outer (I have higher pair on board + a flush draw, he nails offsuit set)
- I flop a set vs undercards, turn a flush draw, and lose to the gutshot offsuit running str8
- Another one utg has <1bb and mucks. I raise induce with KK vs a reg who I thought would be on atc ... atc = aces, toobad ********** ... board came Kxx-A-A just so the extra ace could rub it in a bit
- The other two were standard 2 outers, just for solid stacks going ITM which sucks obv.

If anyone reads my blog then its documented that I am not the biggest fan of the ev graph software:

"I wish this program wasnt invented - it shows the amount you SHOULD make 'if luck wasnt involved' in red, and shows the amount you ACTCUALLY made in green. All it does is tilt the happiness out of my poker soul. Not only that, but I have literally had ONE session where I ran significantly (4 figures) above expectation, and probably a dozen where I ran significantly below over my last 4k games, to the tune of like 20k total downswing - although that is an estimate, I am scared to check to be honest."

Anyways, I imported the mtt sessions sng hands onto my desktop today and who the hell knows how, but I ran WAYYY above equity? It looks like those bubbles may have been some of the only bubbles I had the entire time. Either way, I shouldnt just post here to whine, because sometimes I run good too (sadly this is a beat as I used my rungood up in the 'meaningless' sngs when arguably more $ is made by just winning one of the bustout FT hands)

SO HAPPY to quit an awesome session @ peak for once in my life, still down over my last 1k games according to HEM tho

Re: Official STT BBV Thread imo (beat: sngs)

This is not even filtered, only picked up all my single table $16, 27 and 38 SNG's on PS, since HEM will not show EV-luck for MTT SNG's, where I did not run good either, no need of HEM to tell me.
This is more than 150 BI below expectation over my whole poker life on PS (around 4k STT SNG).
My ROI is

4.4% below expectation on the 16 over 2.5k games
1.8% below expectation over 1.5k games on the 27
17% below over 100 $38

Had to move down and down again b/c of BR requirements. My game is affected. Life is great.

the crown of loserdom is still mine
