the rake increase in may 2011 was the biggest joke ever!!!!
from 15+1 to 13.89+1.11.

the rake % at 30$ is the same!!

rake at 3$ and 6$ was lower too before the changes. (3+0.25 + 6+0.5)

that should be discussed heavily. i dont care about lobby issues or some other gimmicks like additional colour features...

and at other sites you get insta a certain rake %. at stars you have to rake a ton, only to get 27% rb, which is low anyway.

sne requirements are insane.

years ago good rois were possible, now the 9man stt's are not playable. a 2% roi is a waste of time.

anyways, here's my suggestion for step sngs:

-get rid of euro steps and start running the passport promotion year round so people can pick and choose what EPT/LAPT/WSOP/PCA etc events they want to go to. This doesnt mean they need to add money everytime someone wins a seat, just give the winner credit that can only be used for a live event package/s.

ie: i win a step 6, i get 12k in live t$, i choose to play ept italy cause it fits my sched and i want to go to italy, lets say the italy package costs me 10k, i then receive 2k in t$ on stars

-since a pca package is usually valued at 15k maybe if people wanted to go to the pca they could either A. get a seat only for the pca main, or B. use the 12k for a pca package and pay the difference

-This would increase traffic immensely at the steps sngs and would probably mean more qualifiers at their live events (win/win)

SNGS Hyper turbo 6 max and FR 60 USD

I've noticed there haven't been many suggestions regarding the lobby and tournament info screens. Do you believe those serve their purpose well? Is there any additional information that would be useful while playing or while observing?

In regards to the Lobby for SNGs, it's nice that the Hyper/Turbo options are available tabs for filtering on the far right.

Taking that one step further, since the SNG Filter is a bit intimidating (literally > 50 boxes), more for grinders (great for us), and not used by most players, if there were a set of "sub-tabs" the newer players could narrow their choices with in an easy-to-understand/process fashion, that would be awesome.

I.e., if I click on "Sit & Go", "1-Table" and "Low" tabs, I still get an overwhelming number of choices (for a newer player), especially during peak hours when games in the lobbies are more mixed (order is when lobby spawns).

Now, if there's one more set of tabs that pops up below once I click on "Low," I can get to a very digestible number of choices without having to navigate the massive fliter. Holdem, Omaha, Other Games, 6-max, 9-max, 50/50 & Knockout, whatever the set of sub-tabs is. I think it could make the SNG lobby much better for ease-of-use/comprehension, and not leave new players frustrated/intimidated with their experience.

I think a regular split between Holdem/Omaha/Other game types
Would be a good place to start out, and if it still looks messy, look to further narrow it down.

Regarding lobby; it would be nice if you could see who's regged for a given 18man sng in the client and didn't need to open the lobby - just as you do with 6/9man. It's a real pain in the *** if you play over multible limits and try to somewhat tableselect

The majority said they would prefer NLO8 hypers instead of PLO8.

Its only fair, holdem and omaha high players have there hyper turbo's SNGs but none for the omaha8 players.

I like the idea of this, and what about being able to combine winning step 6 tickets, for example instead of having a step 6 to qualify to a certain event like AAPT Cebu there would just be a step 6 for eveything and winners of this could choose any event to play (such as EPT, LAPT AAPT etc) in for that price and if the other events cost more they could combine 2 winning step 2 tickets to play in the another event like EPT.

also ive said this before.. there should be 18 man sng steps instead of the 90 man step.
The 90 man takes forever to fill up and you woud get more people playing the 18 than 90 man sng.
