I don't know if this is something that was already done, but you know how right now they have a waiting time, (especially for hu sngs), so that you aren't sitting out when the tourney starts? And one thing they did do was make it less time to wait. But this is sort of an adhoc solution, obviously. I think ideally, the software should just wait until everyone sits to start (or 15 seconds, whichever is sooner.) So if everyone is sitting in after 3 seconds, it just starts dealing.

I know that PS has an impossibly large pipeline so this might not be priority, but I am pretty sure you will start sngs like 12 seconds faster which will make each hyper go 1.25% faster or whatever.

I think this waiting time has its purpose. Its there so the action isnt that intense and people have time to cool down, shake off some tilt, not degen their money that much.
In my country goverment accepted a rule to delay a time between the cycles when some degens do stuff on slot machines. For this purpose.

@grindtolive dont clutter up this thread with that bs whining please, that said, this thread can be closed up anways..

Its not a pokerstars stt suggestion thread, it is a pokerstars marketing thread where you pick one simple improvement out of the many suggestions, fix it, and pat urself on the back by posting in there about it.

Many of the good suggestions that dont cover the rake (which somehow from your side seems a voldemort like discussion) has not even been commented on.

Fixing/reviving the steps with more mtts that match the step buyins or hypersteps, monthly 2k etc has been put aside with the comment that this can hurt the steps ecosystem, whatever that means, you like them as dead as they are?

There seems to be no direction whatsoever about plans in BOP. This also is a win win situations so why this is not happening is a mystery to me.

Rake in 9man compared to 18man has not been commented once.

Better sng filters, seem to be to hard to implement

Badge like rewards or other stuff that makes it more interesting for losing/recreational players are ignored.

The discussion about 9man hypers seems to be overlooked even though 30$ hypers are now more popular than 9man turbos, WITHOUT any simple possibility to grind urself up in the 9man 7-->30 system.

Basically the only good thing that come out of the this thread other than more 6max hypers (which probably would be there without this thread too) is the cleaning up of the lobbies and even there the best suggestion there was about that from Thrash370 about a default filter that shows 'x' amount of games, which regs can change to a higher number so they can prereg more games has not even been commented on

Well, this confirms my suspicion. Hadn't checked this thread in a couple months and came back to see if any progress had been made on BoP or any of the various clever promotions mentioned here, but still the only promotion I have seen lately on stars is another cash game happy hour. Awesome...

A happy hour for steps would be a beautiful thing. They still have good volume in the european peek times but it gets pretty lonely in the north american evenings.

The #1 thing to fix the steps is insanely simple. Change just the $2K step from a must play to the option for T$. Not the others, just that one. The games don't run b/c there are very few regs who have the luxuary of taking a week to paly a live donkament since most of us that would play that high are busy grinding SNE. More games would run tho, so even tho people could now take the T$, you'd end up with so many more qualiifers that there would likely be more people playing in the live event this way, as well as more rake for stars.
