Better SnG leaderboard stuff both weekly and monthly that not only includes 45 and 180m players, but is also geared towards skill AND volume. Won't happen.

Seriously do this. Figure out a scalable 6 - 180 man sng leaderboard.

-SNG happy hours. Double VPPs, one hour 2x a week. Exclude HU if you need to to prevent abuse.

-SNG tickets in the store! Having equal buy in levels at each stake should make SNG tickets an obvious addition to the store.

-Race to 1 billion tournaments similair to the cash games promo, every 50 million some festivities ****

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars STT Suggestion Thread ***

Some good ideas in here guys!

Reload bonus for sng's good.

Revamped Battle of the planets good.

equity chop when heads up good.

Any promotions would be nice for us sng peeps as we are soooo neglected.

If your looking to expand sng programming on stars tv, let me know as I have a idea which could include some posters in here.

Also are you guys happy with these odd payouts in sngs from last May's changes? Are stars planning buy in changes again? Like 1.50 buy in is a lil steep in my books and I have lost 3% ROI cause you changed it to that amount, and 3.50 to 7.00 is steep, I miss 5.50 buy in's .

Scrap battle of the planets -> reduce rake.

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars STT Suggestion Thread ***

I would sacrifice every possible hope of bonus promotions, including BOP, for lower rake.

The more you lower rake the harder the games become, to the point where it almost exactly cancels each other out. Seen it time and time again over the years.

true, it would be nice for high orbit to have some skill factor in it instead of lucksacking 100 BIs in 100 games. Im not even gonna mention low orbit..
change high orbit to 1000/1500/2000 games or add some new promo that counts points monthly or smth

Re: *** OFFICIAL PokerStars STT Suggestion Thread ***

Yeah, a cool change you could make to BOP is that you could choose an option so that your best 20 tournament block from a high orbit placement is entered as 1 block in low orbit placement. That way high volume players get more shots at placing a good score in low orbit (as they could play 5 high orbits and place their best score of each in the low orbit).

I don't think a higher volume block is a good idea(like 500), since running hot for 500 games is hard , and that way it would just be a weekly present to the few regs that play high ROI games (I figure these are the O8 SNGs and normal speeds... yawn ) enough to get a score in there.

^ Never thought of that bbfg, the high ROI games would have a definite advantage.

A month long leaderboard where points are adjusted to length of tournament might work better. Heck you could make it so everybody gets points as long as you play (no matter finish position), that way you would get some big grinding fish out there trying to reach the top. Call it the grinderboard.

The $3.50s are by far away the most popular, but believe it or not, the $15s come a close second during peak hours - they are MORE popular than the $7.00s. Is there any chance of adding higher levels for these games? A $30 and $60 version would be very attractive to some cash game players that might consider $15 "too small".

Additionally, there has been suggestions of adding different variations of the game. Someone suggested more 27-man and 45-mans, perhaps at the $3.50, $7.00 or $15 levels. This would be a complement to the regular 18 mans and would attract some NLHoldem 45 man players to give the game a shot.
The post I am replying to was originally posted in the MTT-SNG Suggestions thread. The mods have asked for 2 tables or less to be handled in this thread so I'll reply here and post a link in the other thread.

The traffic in the equivalent $15 does support the suggestion for a $30 NLO8 18-man Turbo. Therefore the $30 is now available in the lobby. Depending on traffic in this new SNG, we can look at the possibility of the $60.

The $1 45-man NLO8 doesn't run very often so at the moment I don't think we can add any higher buy-ins at the moment. If we were to add a $3.50 for example, it could split the existing $1 player pool between the two buy-ins and result in fewer tournaments running overall.
