Re: ********Official Merge Network SNG Discussion**********

I started with the DoNs because they run the most but I really don't like them. Trying to move up regular speed 10 mans but holy **** there's a ridiculous amount of regs on there... Like every game if we get down to 5 handed usually at least 3 regs.. sometimes all 5. Friggin sick

I'm a reg at $10 DoNs. They aren't easy. Most people know how to play them

I've never seen soo much min-raising pre-flop as I have on Merge. Even in the first couple of levels, seems odd to me.

Re: ********Official Merge Network SNG Discussion**********

I only depo'd 100 crackers so I'm playing the $3s DoNs primarily. I also have played some 6max DoNs which I think people play worse then the 10 handed. I wish the plos would spread but it seems to be a hit miss thing so far...

I've also played some 45s t sngs and they are reg filled and tough but beatable obv. They Payout the top 5 spots instead of the stars 7. Weeeeee!!!

I've switched to dons so I can play more of them with less variance since I have a small 100 cracker initial bi with a 100 bonus to clear...

I'm thinking the roi for these dons will be something like 5% over big samples. Not much but add rb, vpps, and a ****load of volume...

I may just go back to 45s and if/when the 180s spread with any regularity those...

I can log in right now, but the entire lobby is empty - no cash games or tourney tables show up at all. Is anyone else having this happen now?

I restarted it and left it up. After about a minute, the games all showed up.

Re: ********Official Merge Network SNG Discussion**********

Anyone notice that there seems to be an unusual amount of ridiculously good and bad roi's on Merge right now? I play the $5 6-man SNG's and it seems fairly common to be playing with guys that have a 50% roi or better as well as -50% roi or worse. Granted, a lot of players are new to Merge within the last month and the sample sizes aren't the greatest. That being said, I still find it amazing that there are so many people with what I would consider "unsustainable" roi's.

Re: ********Official Merge Network SNG Discussion**********

so volume has picked up a little in the past month and i am starting to see some familiar names from FT (one guess what mine is). I've settled into playing the $21.60 DONs. Due to many you don't care reasons (like having 11 week old twins), I can only play about 4 of them at a time. It takes about 15-30 minutes for me to get all four started but once I get rolling I am able to easily sustain four at a time (I play around 9:30pm-12:30am eastern time when family and work allows it).

the good news about DONs is it is very easy to play a lot of them at once (I used to struggle playing four normal SNGs). The bad news is I would expect the long term ROIs to be lower. Still though I am doing ok out of the gate but only have about 120 tourneys under my belt.

and remember fellas fold to my open shoves and I will pay the respect and fold to yours let everyone else knock themselves out and we can both share in the equal prize money. If you feel like I have stepped on your toes in any fashion, PM me as I am sure it is more my retarded interpretation of push/shove more than anything else (not looking to collude but PM if you see me do something stupid).

GL out there!!!

Carbon at least had Tournament King monthly leaderbaord. Im pretty sure it was running last month but they might have done away with it like they did weekend warrior. Really kind of pisses me off that Carbon isnt more up front about what promos are running win.

Ive noticed traffic being a little better too. My avg games per hour is up around 45 from 35 last month. Some of that is prob from getting comfortable with the software but def increased traffic too.

I do have to say, after initially being happy with it, Carbon support is starting to disappoint. If i were doing it over, i would prob go with RPM.

Merge Network deposit/withdrawl thread

Looks like there was a huge cluster**** for a few weeks after BF, but its starting to get unjammed. Id guess 15-20 days from the time you request a check til you get it. Just make sure your account is verified beforehand.
